the food is delicious, customer service is phenomenal. one of the workers went out of their way to bring me my food themselves bc of doordash issues, i’m very pleased with the service i receive here & can always count on a platter from Cynthia’s to brighten up my day.
Food was good. Call in before you go there though. Waited cuz the chicken was fried fresh. Still tore it up though. And Cynthia was extremely pleasant.
Vegetarian options: Just get the platters with no meat or just get sides. Food is well seasoned and not salty.

I’ve been eating here since summer 2023. The food is always amazing, Cynthia is always great. Last time I went she had just opened that day, she still took my order and then called me when it was ready. I rarely travel to the city for soul food because Cynthia does her thing everytime !

Cynthia has superb customer service. It was my first time trying the restaurant and I drove fom Philly. We order a chicken family meal. Thanks for making a price friendly section on your menu for families. 🥰 Like no seriously! I was delighted by the taste and portions, but her friendliness and great customer service was what sold me. There are a handful of spots with good food, but not everywhere has good food a customer service. I am happy to support this sister and so should you. You won't be disappointed. She even through in popsicles for my son. Thank you. We shall return.
I been in norristown since 2010, coming from Philadelphia. So finding a good soul place was a priority. It's 2024 and i just found cynthia's!!! And i'm absolutely grateful.

I got a fish platter with MAC&CHESSE & yams & potato salad 8/10 the yams could have been some sweeter n the MAC&CHESSE more seasoning, but everything was good . I’m not gonna lie. I really want some more of her potato salad that was off the chain.
I call her Aunt Cynthia bcuz that’s the vibe u get when u order from here the food is absolutely delicious and it’s not just 1 item the WHOLE PLATTER is on point MY NEW SOUL FOOD

First time trying. The food was subpar at best…they forgot my yams :( the fish and the chicken were dry. The green beans were okay. Mac n cheese was what you’d expect. Really wanted to try the collard greens but I understood that they had run out of them. I think the most disappointing thing was that I found several small bones in my fish :( I’m not gonna say I don’t recommend this place because to each their own. I encourage those to try it for themselves, but this is just my opinion.

This was my first time. The food wasn't bad, just my fish was fried too hard. Expect an hour wait time. I may try again. I won't totally judge by my first experience. Customer service was excellent.
