I called and ordered breakfast to go since I was working nearby. I ordered 2 pieces of French toast, which was good and the bread was nice and thick. I also ordered a platter with scrambled eggs with cheese, I can’t eat them without cheese, and bacon. When I got there the cashier said my order was $35. I asked what for and she said two platters and an order of French toast. I said I only ordered one platter and French toast. I’m not sure how she thought she heard 2 platters, anyway I get back to work and the French toast was good. The eggs had no cheese and the hash browns, which I didn’t know were included were dry and tasteless. The bacon was ok, just thicker than what I like. If I order from here again I’ll skip the dry tasteless eggs and hash browns.

I try to like this diner, and give a chance every time I go. But I have to admit that I'm disappointed every time I visit there.
The owner is friendly as is the cook. Mostly everyone else is alarmingly aloof. I feel like I'm intruding when I dine here. No coffee refill, no check to see if everything is okay.
Food is average but inexpensive. The hash browns are always under cooked. The coffee is okay.
The atmosphere is retro 50s and works, but could use a good scrubbing. I smelled cigarette smoke coming from the kitchen area.
I can tell that this a popular place with many locals but don't quite understand why other than it affords them a place to meet up. But if you're not part of that group, you may feel out of place and dare I say unwelcome

We love this place. We no longer live near by to visit more regularly but when in the area we do try to stop by for breakfast. Living near harrisburg, we find it harder to go somewhere that has good cream chip beef.

Visiting from Atlanta and this place was amazing. The food was good and the atmosphere was super cute food. Our waitress was nice and attentive. The owner even stopped by our table to thank us for visiting today. 🤎

I called to make sure they have the biscuits and gravy I wanted. I don’t think they checked at all. 20 minutes later when I drove all the way there they said “oh we ran out.”Then they didn’t even offer me anything. They just said next time you should tell us to put it on hold for you. Maybe she should have told me that! There wont be a next time. oh, by the way, I waited at the counter for 10 minutes before they even came up to me. Really lousy service.
Extremely friendly staff and such a positive vibe! We also got to meet the owner, Tony Bello, and had a really nice conversation with him — he’s warm and welcoming.
We had the French Toast (which was perfect!), a custom-made omelette with spinach, tomatoes, and peppers, and the “Elvis” — an egg sandwich with bacon and cheese. It would have been nice if the sandwich came with hash browns or potatoes, but everything was delicious and cooked just right.
Great place, fun vibe, and great value for breakfast. Oh, and they only take cash — so make sure you bring it!
