Small café on main street, good food, had the grit platter, it was good, grits were prepared with milk as they should be, service was excellent. Gave a 4 for atmosphere because of the size.

I have given this cafe 3 chances. First time my scrapple was barely done. Next time my grits were not done. Basically was chewing the grits. Final chance was today. My home fries were so plain and bland. The onions were so hard. Not cooked a tiny bit. Crunchy. Potatoes tasted like paper. And I said well done on the scrapple and it was still mushy. Just won’t be returning.

Not sure how this place has almost 5 stars! Maybe because the standard is low in this area and it’s not that many good food or breakfast spots around. The Belgian waffle did not give Belgian waffle at all, it was not crispy or hot, It was soggy from the excessive amount of butter and whipped cream. I also ordered home fries and they were nasty and tasted like they were already done prior to me ordering them. I had this place once before and the food was subpar not sure why I thought things would change.
