Wow. Have things changed. Do not go to Minado Japanese Restaurant in East Norriton. Never treated so rudely by a restaurant manager regarding food and tip. Have spent years recommending this place to many. The food has truly gone downhill. Fighting the urge not to be sick in the parking lot from eating crab and beef that wasn't fully cooked. Raw oysters that smelled questionable. At one point the owner came out personally to apologize about the undercooked crab so it's not like they weren't aware. Too many opportunities for possible food poisoning. Could have handled the situation like a professional but the manager just made it worse. Spoke in a condescending tone with "Happy New Year" at every opportunity and not letting us speak.

The good reviews are seriously misleading. The food was very bland and mushy. Hibachi chicken was undercooked. Should have known it was going to be bad when we noticed that no one preparing the food was even Asian. The ice cream was the best part. Not worth the price. 0/10

Pretty good sushi buffet, with some other food selections to vary it up a bit. Not bad selection of sushi, and everything tastes good. The cooked food is a little hit-or-miss, but most of it is good. I like the section where there's a person cooking stuff for you, whether it's crepes or a soup. They also have some really good green tea ice cream!

Service by the waiter was great but the food was awful. I can usually down Chinese buffet sushi but this was worse than that. I came for lunch on a Wednesday but I can't imagine dinner being better enough to come here again. Could have paid $8 instead of $19 and been more satisfied. I try not to leave bad reviews but this was bad and a ripoff.

I love minado. I wouldn't go here when they're almost closing (like an hour from closing) only because I feel bad AND the food runs out quick. If minado dinner prices weren't so expensive I would go here more. But I really like the variety of sushi choices!

I have been coming to this Minado for 7 years now. I tried both their lunch and dinner buffet. When I first ate here it was the best sushi experience I've ever had. The food always tastes great and everything is freshly made as well. The service is always great no matter who the server is, they are all extremely nice and accommodating. This place has been consistent for the 7 years that I have been coming here and I cannot say that about many places. If you have not tried this place yet, do yourself a favor and come by!

Best Japanese buffet, I drove an hour to get here. Eaten here twice so far, oo maybe I'll plan on making a trip this weekend! Clean place, great selection, great for large parties and celebrations because this place is huge.

I finally made it back here after almost nine years for lunch today and I'm glad I did. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Huge variety. Wide variety of sushimi and rolls that you don't see anywhere else. Excellent grilled meats (Teriyaki Chicken and Beef) that were a joy to eat. Service was good.

It was ok. Sashimi was sub par. I was spoiled at Menado in Va and or NJ. This location was just like a regular Chinese everyday buffet.

Be very careful. I ate here and got very, very sick. I'm pretty sure it was sanminill. Two weeks and I'm still not over it. Never again!!
We were hungry for Asian food when we stumbled across Minado. We were truly impressed with the wide variety of fresh sushi. There are dozens of choices in sushi There is Miso soup and Crab soup. Dozens of side dishes as well as hot dishes. The wait staff is super attentive and very friendly. Minado is a very welcoming Buffet style restaurant. We started our journey with the sushi and we actually ran out of plate space and had to come back for seconds and thirds. The crab soup was delicious and the Miso soup was piping hot. The crab legs were succulent and plentiful. The dessert bar was filled with endless options to satisfy every palate. The fruit was fresh and juicy. There is a drink menu, however we chose traditional green tea. BYOB is an option for those who prefer alcohol. Dinner tonight was plentiful fresh and indulgent!!! Absolutely a must try if you need all you can eat sushi!!!

It wasn't worth the price. I visited on a Sunday night around 7:30pm expecting the exciting dinner menu but unfortunately it was looking like leftovers and around 8:15 pm itself they started emptying the items from the buffet as there were only 3 table occupied. I should have gone for their take out box option by weight instead of spending $32.99 for the leftovers. Here is the take out box pricing pic for those who are interested to know about it.

Honestly, this place is the best thing in East Norriton/the area. The food is fresh and everything is really clean. Lunch is a super good deal, although dinner can be a little pricey considering how much we eat when we are there (but the crab legs are great!!). Everyone is super nice and attentive and I think we've only had a "bad" experience once, but that was because of a new hire forgetting we were his table. We love this place so much that we go every weekend (both Sat and Sun) because I don't want to cook and there is a great selection of fresh food!

Bit on the expensive side for me, as I don't really like seafood. My wife really enjoyed the food there though and thought the price was worth it. I ended up eating sushi the entire time we were there. Their selection of rolls is very diverse with many options for those that like raw or cooked (like me) rolls. Their buffet selection also includes green tea ice cream!

I come here usually for special occasions and have no complaints! Easy to accommodate large parties, with both raw and cooked options. The quality is better on some days than other days though. Seems like during times with high turnover, the fried items are crispy and the raw items are fresh. I guess I wouldn't recommend coming off peak for that reason - I'd rather wait 10 minutes to get fresh food than not wait for old food!
