My family and I come here often. To us it's the closest to NYC carribean food. It's because of us going so often that we noticed that there is more than 1 cook that prepares the food. This of course would be fine except there is a huge difference in taste. Sometimes there is ALOT and big pieces of ginger in the dishes. The cabbage Sometimes is sweet. The oxtail and candied yams slap, but yal price is absolutely ridiculous. I'm assuming yall the reason the other spott kept raising thier price too. Also the plantains were over ripe.
Hands down the best Jamaican food in Norristown! It is always fresh. Never looks or taste like it was left over from yesterday. Generous portions. Taste like authentic Jamaican food unlike taste of the islands. Friendly staff.
