“We were on the road a little later than we wanted to be and it was getting late. We needed to find a place to eat and we mentioned pizza. I knew there was a couple pizza options in the area since I drive this direction for work. We never stopped here before, but figured we would give it a try. The workers were very friendly, and the pizza was good. I have been meaning to stop back and try some of the other food but just have not had the chance. I heard the Stromboli‘s are really good.“

“The food is good here. It is such a hometown, cozy, mountain feeling atmosphere restaurant. The bar is separate and downstairs which worked out perfectly for our 20 person group get-together. Everyone enjoyed the food. The only negative; smoking is permitted.“

I only had a cup of soup and a side salad this time because I wanted to have room for their huge portion of chocolate fudge ice cream cake. “As soon as we pulled up to the Wooden Door Winery, we were awestruck. We're lovers of old architecture, be it churches, buildings or old barns. The facade is absolutely beautiful and well maintained, but, the real treat behind indoors.
From the beautifully restored floors, to the wine bottle trees and chandelier, to incorporating many of the former churches artifacts, this place is stunning.
Jeff, the owner, was absolutely great to talk to and , as he should be, very proud of his wives and his establishment. You can see all the care that goes into everything there.
Our meals were delicious and inexpensive. The salad was so fresh and crisp and the service amazing.
Tucked away in Vandergrift, PA, this is a gem you'll want to visit over and over again. We regret not going sooner! If we could give everything about it more stars, we would! 💕

“this review is for the new deli as I swore I would never go back while the former owner was there. bought a whole Italian hoagie that was very good. was served on a good hoagie roll with plenty of meat and cheese and fresh lettuce, tomato and chopped onion and also got 6 whole wings that were good but could have use a little more seasoning but that is just my taste for many they would probably have been perfect. Jen the cook did a very good job and was great at customer relations especially considering it was about 90 degrees in the store and she was getting it done while the cashier walked by twice and never said a word. did not dine in as it was cooler outside(87). Will be back when it cools down.“

“First time going there last night 10/27/24. We ordered a large pepperoni xtra pepperoni and cheese pizza . And we drove from Apollo to Leechburg and pic it up and took it home and it was still hot. The employee’s were super nice. The dining room was very clean & nice looking. We will be ordering again . Friendly employees that names it nicer to pick up or eat in. Or to even come back. “This past Sunday was our first time we've been here. Our server Carrie was awesome. Friendly, quick, attentive, and had great recommendations. Everything was clean and tidy. Food was absolutely amazing and HUGE portions. We got 3 meals out of our meal. Pretty crazy. And you can't beat the pricing for the quality and portion size.“
