“My group of 8 visited this small take-out restaurant. Due to the size of the group, our orders of fish, chicken, and turkey wings took about 40 minutes to prepare. It was worth the wait. A couple of us ordered the mac and cheese....it was cheesy and good! All commented that all of the food was flavorable.

The restaurant was a bit warm while we ordered, but that could've been of the constant opening of the door from the customers that streamed in. The prices are very reasonable for this cash-only establishment. The portion sizes were good. Will definitely put on the list of restaurants to return to when I am in the area.“

“Tried the General tsos chicken, and pork fried rice. The tsos was pretty good in terms of flavor and spice, but the chicken pieces felt a touch lacking. The pork fried rice was one of the better fried rice dishes I have had in the area but certainly not the best. Overall would certainly recommend.“

“A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!“

“We are so lucky to have an establishment like Baby Loves Tacos in the East End! This family not only knows how to make amazing tacos, burritos, etc., but they also know how to feed the soul of a community. From their donation based coffee station to their pay it forward meals to their community meals at the end of the day when they have some extra ingredients, everyone is treated with respect and dignity. If you are craving anything on their menu, you won’t be disappointed. This is a must visit establishment when in the neighborhood.“

“When I lived in Pittsburgh years ago I visited this plane a couple times per year. It was always delicious Thai food. Now I come back nearly 15 years later and not only is it just as good, it is absolutely amazing and blew me out of the water. The quality of the food, the way it was prepared, the spices, the presentation, all around five out of five stars. Bravo. We had a hard time deciding what to eat, there were so many delicious options on the menu. We decided on the Massaman curry with lamb shank, the Halibut, the 17ingredient salad, and the yellow curry. Believe me when I tell you, you can't go wrong with any of those selections. It was cooked and prepared to perfection. The ambiance is also great whether you're alone or on date night. The drinks are top notch.“

“I love the amount of real spices they use in their curries. I can tell that the restaurant has a great quality of food. I am very sensitive to (hot) spices, but I want to enjoy the flavors of Indian food. If I ask for a 0 the spice level feels too hot for me. Last time I came, I asked for them to adjust the spice level to be milder than 0. They were able to reduce the heat in the dish to levels I could handle without reducing the flavor. I have not dined in at this restaurant, but enjoy the ambience of the place. It is clean and the decor is eye catching.“

“For this cold, there is nothing like healthy Thai food and their soups that are so replenishing and delicious 😋. To start, some vegetarian rolls with cabbage, jengibre, pickled vegetables with garlic accompanied by a sauce with sesame and pecans, a flower and herb tea prepared by them uffff!!! Incredible!!! “Where can I begin… the food was delicious! Friendly service and real conversation. My family and I are from Indiana visiting for the weekend and we wanted to try Grandma B’s. Went on Saturday morning and it was so impressive we said “We’re coming back tomorrow before we leave!” Only to return Sunday morning and they had standing room only! Sadly my party and I were just going to head back to Indiana, hungry when they called us back in and said”We’re going to make room for you all up top.” They proceeded to prepare another area upstairs to accommodate our party! Hands down best food in service in Pittsburgh!“

“They have so many beers to choose from that I felt like a kid in a toy store, but with the major advantage that here nobody judges you for starting to drink at two in the afternoon. My absolute favorite was the Gristly Bear Brown followed closely by the Porter, though with such a huge variety there are options for every taste and level of thirst. Since trying them all at once is a one-way ticket to talking to aliens, getting a flight is the best scientific strategy. The cocktails, on the other hand, are better left alone unless you want to put your tolerance for liquid regret to the test. Outside they have a lifesaver food truck just in case hunger strikes and you need to absorb the alcohol with some dignity. They accept card payments, but if you pay in cash they give you a discount that makes it totally worth digging through your couch cushions.“

“My family went for lunch on Saturday, the place was absolutely packed! And for good reason, the food was absolutely delicious! And the service we received from our waiter was perfect. Elijah was very attentive and always happy to meet my toddlers many requests 😅 Also would like to add that even though they were super busy, it took them less than 10 minutes to get us seated and the food didn’t take long to come out at all. All the food was hot and fresh, even the strawberries were freshly cut. We will definitely be spending many more breakfast and lunch dates here!“

“The Market in Verona is so awesome. It is so great to go in and get good quality food that you can reheat at home. I recently got the Eggplant Parmesan, pasta and risotto balls. “I came in for Valentine's Day. I had just worked 9 hours and was wanting to treat myself. Now this was only my second time here and just like the first time - the woman at the counter (presumably the owner?), was the sweetest woman I've ever met. She is an absolute delight. I placed my order and stepped outside so I could have some fresh air for the day. I came back in and gave her a chocolate rose. She was estatic and so thrilled. Seeing her face light up truly melted my heart. I sat down to wait for my to-go order and she comes over with a little bowl if Thai Tea Ice Cream. mmm mmm good. It's so delicious and hits the spot. She then proceeds to pull a fresh rose from her vase and hands it to me. I honestly almost cried. The generosity here exceeds my expectations. The food is beyond amazing. I highly reccomend coming here and I cannot wait to come back soon. 🥰“

Establishments should remember that every guest is observing, every interaction matters, and every moment reflects the character of the business. My hope is simple: that businesses remain mindful of how staff attitudes shape the entire experience. And so is the absence of both. let me add the food is delicious. I have no other reservations but for the one barmaid jess was my barmaid. February 7th time is 1:46 p.m.“
