I ordered 3 footlong hotdogs and a Caesar salad. 2 of the footlongs were supposed to have Greek sauce. The buns on all 3 were stale and the Greek sauce was just hamburger meat. Very dry! The salad was brown and slimy. I took them back and they replaced my order but still a inconvenience!

The atmosphere was great and the service was wonderful but who on earth heats up a cold cut. My lettuce was slimy and the tomatoes were mush from being heated up with the sub. It’s suppose to be a cold cut. When I went the first time I waited 45 minutes for some ranch. After standing there for 45 minutes I was asked what I had ordered needless to say they ended up just giving me the ranch. The boys were very respectful and don’t want them to feel any type away with this review. But the food could be better. The pizza would’ve been on point but I ordered a cheese pizza too and it was very greasy.

I had a great experience with the Straw Hat Deli. A fine young gentlemen named wyatt took my order who was extremely kind and helpful with ultimately me going with the bacon chicken ranch pizza which is a 10/10

The staff was more interested in their personal conversation than guests in their dining room. We ordered and sat ourselves, picked up our food at the counter, had dressing tossed onto our table. Some sort of hair/fibers in our sub. This is definitely not a restaurant, you will not be served. Why have a tip jar? My tip should have been close the restaurant part and just do take out and pay attention to your customers! Moving on, what a shame.

I ordered a sub and asked for lettuce, salt, pepper, mayo, mustard, Italian dressing, and, banana peppers to be added to my 14" sub. Nope!! Idk, maybe you can only get what the description on the menu says. ????♀️
I’m not sure if I caught them at a bad time, but the wait for one item was close to 30 minutes. Definitely not a place to stop in a hurry.

I so wanted to give this a full 5 star review, but after three tries and a fail each time, I just couldn't do it. I'm hoping that it's early opening jitters and they'll work out the kinks. We ordered the Coney dogs. Buns are too big for the size of the dog and were very dry and the sauce was cold. Ordered regular hot dogs the second time (who can screw up a Smiths hot dog, right?). I asked for the buns to be toasted hoping to avoid the same problem as before. Nope, they weren't toasted and were even drier than the first time. We couldn't t even eat the bun, we pulled the dogs out and ate them plain. If we weren't already at our destination, I would have taken them back. Third time, we ordered the veggie pizza. It was MEH. Maybe just our taste preferences, but the crust was good. So all in all, I'll try a couple more times and hope that they start getting it right. With such simple things going bad, we've been afraid to try anything more complicated. I strive to support local, but ...
