We ordered wings and pizza. The BBQ wings were ok, the Butter and Garlic had 0 flavor. If I hadn’t seen them dump the excess sauce in the garbage after preparing our food I wouldn’t have known they were Butter and Garlic. We ordered the Nashville Hot pizza as recommended by quite a few people. The only flavor was pickle. There was no spice at all. The pepperoni pizza was ok, but not great.

OK, but not great. Had a hot chicken & pickle pizza there and I enjoyed it. Something different . Thought we'd try the wings. One wet, one dry. Both came dripping with sauce. Not what we ordered, but flavorful. Biggest problem is that they don't crispy fry the wings. Both orders were finished off in the pizza oven and had soggy skin. There are definably better wings available in town.

Asked for lettuce and tomato. Got sub with out it and dude seemed put out to have to fix it. Ox Roast sub was very dry.
I ordered 3 footlong hotdogs and a Caesar salad. 2 of the footlongs were supposed to have Greek sauce. The buns on all 3 were stale and the Greek sauce was just hamburger meat. Very dry! The salad was brown and slimy. I took them back and they replaced my order but still a inconvenience!

The atmosphere was great and the service was wonderful but who on earth heats up a cold cut. My lettuce was slimy and the tomatoes were mush from being heated up with the sub. It’s suppose to be a cold cut. When I went the first time I waited 45 minutes for some ranch. After standing there for 45 minutes I was asked what I had ordered needless to say they ended up just giving me the ranch. The boys were very respectful and don’t want them to feel any type away with this review. But the food could be better. The pizza would’ve been on point but I ordered a cheese pizza too and it was very greasy.

I had a great experience with the Straw Hat Deli. A fine young gentlemen named wyatt took my order who was extremely kind and helpful with ultimately me going with the bacon chicken ranch pizza which is a 10/10
