Not the only place you can get PSU Creamery ice cream in Erie County, but certainly the best. Staff are always kind, appreciative and courteous. Heck, even got a voucher for a free cone by having a Penn State car magnet!
Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy...coconut ice cream with buttered almonds and chocolate chips....what's NOT to love.Husband loves the Death by Chocolate. Chocolate ice cream, and chocolate chips....chunks really.If you are anywhere NEAR, make the trip to the Straw Hat. You can thank me later! ?

Great variety & the staff was so nice. I love that it's open year round, with winter hours usually 4-9 or similar. This visit we true the soft serve pumpkin spice. That's not my favorite as it's not very pumpkin flavored for me but it was good. Love the decor too. Outdoor seating only. But year round you can get some awesome ice cream!
