Amato's has been a Northumberland County tradition for me since I was 21. A friend recommended it, and it was lovely at first bite. I've introduced friends and family who also fell in love with their food. Carrying on the tradition, we visited family and then went out to dinner. We both got large Italian subs. A family across from us got a huge pizza with extra cheese. Mom looked to be about our age. We discussed our love of Amato's.

Amato's has the best subs anywhere! Homemade bun, lots of meat, and oh so delicious! Since I moved away from Northumberland, I haven't been able to find any that even come close to them. We traveled 3 1/2 hours to have lunch and take some home. You have to give them a try.

Just got off work didn't feel like cooking so decided to try their food. It is very good I'm impressed compared to the other Italian places around here.litte pricey but worth it in my opinion for quality food 😁 gonna try the alfredo next time !

Stopped for a slice, the service was good. The pizza was good, nothing spectacular. Instead of a nice crust and pizza with the great air bubbles, they now run the dough through a machine. Not as good as when my Dad took me years ago, but it was still ok. Kind of plain in there as well, could be a beautiful place if they did something with it. Clean though

First time eating their pie. Worked all day without a lunch. Ate four slices. Good pizza, fast service, fair prices, and good looking waitresses!

The food was good. Kids had pizza. Husband had cheese steak, and I had manicotti.

Parking: Ample parking.

Kid-friendliness: Waitress was great with my grandsons and helpful with suggestions on food.

Best hoagies I know of, anywhere. Unbeatable bread. Best alfredo sauce you'll come across. Chicken alfredo pizza is fantastic, or fettucine alfredo (with shrimp, chicken, broccoli mix and match). Very very nice people, always great service if eating in and a nice dining experience. The owner / head chef is always working hard but makes time to say hello to pretty much everyone he has an opportunity to engage with. Noticeably friendly guy. Great place all around, seriously awesome food at Amatos Norry.
