Michael A's Restaurant & Lounge

Great dinner at Michael A's. We shared the Caesar salad, zucchini and chocolate cake and had the Linguine & Clams and the Classic Pasta entree's. All were delicious. The portions are generous and we were able to take a lot of leftovers home.

Wonderful atmosphere....great decor....and the menu choices were amazing. We each ordered a cocktail and then ordered a specialty pizza...which was so delicious. Evern the bread service presentation was perfect AND delicious. Our server, Christy, was lovely...very attentive and efficient. We will definitely go back again.

Service was great . The zucchini appetizer is light and amazing . The chicken Romano was very good

Veal Marcella and Chicken Parm were both very good, along with my Italian Moscow Mule. A little overpriced I would say (but what isn't these days)

My wife and I, along with another couple, had a delightful experience. I had the Michael A's classic meat sauce with rigatoni and loved it. Friends had eggplant parm, which was delicious, and a pizza that was also scrumptious. Only dish that was disappointing was the greens and beans.  We had a wonderful experience and will be back.

We brought family that were visiting to this restaurant and enjoyed our meal and the dining experience. Our server, Vinny is always kind, attentive, and helpful with menu suggestions. Thank you Vinny!

The food was amazing, shout out to the fried zucchinni! Drinks were equally impressive. Will definitely be back.

I would not say energenic for the noise level, it was TOO LOUD! Folks were meeting others and talking right by husband's head. It is very noisy upstairs. Should add some type of acoustics.

My husband and I enjoyed our pasta meals. We had reservations and were seated promptly. We each had a glass of wine and our soup and salad came out fast. The bread and butter was delicious and fresh. We had frequent refills of water which was nice! Our pasta meals, spaghetti and meatballs and rigatoni, both with marinara sauce came out promptly. We had enough leftover for lunch the next day. The chocolate ricotta cake was delicious! We had that to go also. The take home containers and the bag were a nice touch. We were upstairs and our reservation was at 5:30 on a Friday, at that time it was quieter than downstairs.

As Michael A's changed ownership, the first several months were great!
The chicken parm was THE BEST in the area by far.
Large, well prepared and totally awesome.
Please keep in mind I've been going there for over 20 years.
My wife an I went there on Memorial Day evening.
Ordered our normal greens and beans, salad and THE CHICKEN PARM expecting what once was.
I forgot having spoke to the owner a few weeks prior that he fired the previous chef.
VERY, VERY BAD MOVE.
The dish was awful, small literally 1/4 the previous size and prepared awful.
Loved going there as I live in Oakmont BUT, until thos changes, I won't be back.
So terribly dossapointed!
Bring back the old chef or please, please tell me where he landed.
That's my new joint!

The ambience, food and service is top notch!

Everything was good. We sat at a table between the wall & bar. People sitting and standing at the bar made it “tight.”

Absolutely delicious! The staff are all very friendly and accommodating and make sure everything is the best for your experience! Highly recommended! We'll be back to try everything else on the menu!

Really liked this place..great meatballs!

Every staff member was extremely kind and helpful. They never seemed burdened by our large group and were genuinely some of the best hostesses and servers I've had in a long time. The food was incredible. We had several appetizers and entrees. We are already planning our return to try more from the menu.
