I would give the service a zero if I could I was at the deli the other day to get a sandwich. There was an elderly couple in front of me that ordered tuna fish sandwiches. The worker said to this couple. I’m sorry I made you a chicken sandwich by accident instead of tunafish would you like to take the chicken instead and the elderly lady said no I really have my heart set on a tuna fish. They went and sat down to wait for their sandwiches. The worker turned around said something behind her, called the couple up to the counter said I’m sorry we are out of tuna fish. This is the most disgusting thing. What a way to treat your customers and the elderly for a mistake YOU MADE. No offer of a discount no offer to comp their sandwiches. I turned around and walked out without completing my order and I’ll be damn sure to tell everybody I know about this abysmal experience .

I ordered a variety of sandwiches and wraps for my wedding, and received excellent service here. The folks who took the order were patient, made suggestions for pairings, and were generally super helpful. At our wedding numerous guests commented on how delicious the sandwiches were and that they could tell the breads, meats, and cheese were of particularly high quality. I highly recommend this establishment!

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian wraps were offered when I asked, and they were well liked. Also very attractively made on the tray for catering.

Kid-friendliness: Oakmont Deli also made kid friendly sandwich options at my request.

My friend and I went to Oakmont for a girls day and had a place picked out in advance to eat but decided to shop around first. We walked past the Deli and were chattering about it and one of their customers eating outside said how good it was and that we should try it. She went on about how good the french onion soup was and had our minds swayed a bit. When we were in another store we heard someone else talking about the Deli so we just had to try it for ourselves. It was so good! We both got the onion soup, thank you random woman, and both of our sandwiches were so good! I would definitely go again and recommend that others try it out!

Very delicious food and an overwhelmingly pleasant experience. The evening is arrived was purely spontaneous, the endless hunger for food was once again giving me peril; I had a choice go to subway (?) or try something new. Clearly you now know what I decided and I’m grateful for that choice. This location is a rather small but very cozy establishment that will have you reminiscing of the good old days. The service was fast and extremely friendly considering it was my first time there and I didn’t know the menu. The food came out fast and fresh, there is no doubt it was made to order. It tasted fantastic and realistically all I could think about was when am I coming back here again. If you need a sandwich or hoogie this is the place to stop in Oakmont.

Meatball hoagie was delicious! Worth every penny!

This is my local deli! Quality and portion size for the price makes this easily my favorite sandwich spot/choice in the area. The people that work there are also super friendly. My faves are the ‘Big Dan’ and ‘Cajun Ruben’!

This place is awesome to stop for food or deli needs. For one the prices are amazing, for a place in Oakmont you wound expect to pay more but not only is the place cheap for Oakmont it's cheap in general.

You can order any kid of sandwich you want or you can select from a list of premade sandwich ideas. The sandwiches are made fresh from the deli and are wrapped perfectly for on the go. The included a pickle spear as well.

The soup I got which was the chicken and rice and it was the best I have ever had (sorry mom). The sandwich I ordered also ranks in the top of sandwiches I have ever had.

Parking is plentiful around the deli and they have two tables outside in front of the store and a few inside. The place got super packed shortly after we arrived and I can see why.

I highly recommend this deli and as I live in Oakmont I will be making frequent stops here.

The most delicious fresh made sandwiches you can get! Such a good meal! I suggest getting a sandwhich and a side. The soups are hot and the other sides are tasty as well! Big portions!

Worked in oakmont for 7 years. VERY bummed I just found out about this place! Soups and sandwiches are great. Lunch or dinner Togo for sure. Staff and owner are very personable as well.
