If you are considering this location for a large “upscale” dinner party, you may want to reconsider as The Lot management will not honor your reservation no matter how far in advance arrangements are made. Our party of 18 was reserved five weeks in advance for one large table in the patio and confirmed 10 days ahead of time. We even made a trip to the restaurant 4 days before to review the arrangements. Unfortunately, without warning, on the day of the event, we were moved inside and squeezed into two tables between the kitchen and the bathroom ruining our seating arrangements, table decorations and ability to communicate with each other. Of course, no one from management explained, apologized or even came over to the party during the evening to check on us. We would have received better treatment if we showed up without warning at a pizza place! The only thing upscale about The Lot are the prices. If you don’t mind spending over $1000 to be treated this way, then go ahead and book your party here. Otherwise, go to an establishment where they care about their customers.

Everytime we head to Pittsburgh, we eat brunch/lunch at The Lot in Oakmont; the food is always delicious. They have a large patio that has fire pits and heaters for the winter. The Lot is kid-friendly which is great, because we are often walking around with a baby while our family members eat! I love their beignets, which are warm and melt in your mouth!Dietary restrictions: We have two vegetarians in our family and one vegan; they love The Lot too!Parking: There are a few free areas to park right in front of The Lot.Kid-friendliness: Large, open patio to walk or let the kids move about!

We had family brunch here this past weekend and everything was great. We had a few small children with us and the staff navigated throughout the area perfectly. Our server, I believe her name was Taylor, was amazing as well as all of the supporting staff. Even the bus boys were extremely polite. The food was really really good. I had the crabcake benedict, which was really delicious as well as the steak and eggs to steak was cooked to perfection. Even the side salad was really good and I’m not a salad person. The cocktails were also on point.I’ll definitely be back!

Consistently excellent breakfast/brunch, and we've explored nearly their entire menu. They've mastered the crispy potatoes. Best beignets I've ever had (but shhhh they're a secret).

Beautiful restaurant, live music on Thursdays (was a little loud for me), bathrooms are clean and smell nice, and the portions are huge. The double cut pork chop was delicious and so tender. Highly recommend checking it out. Depending on time of day you should be fine finding parking. Street parking up front and also a lot in back that's a shared lot with some other businesses.

We had a group of 15 for a surprise baby sprinkle. It was the absolute perfect day all around thanks to the staff at The Lot. The hosts and managers were wonderful to work with prior to the lunch to answer my questions. Abby, our server, was amazing with handling guests trickling in and continuing the afternoon with great service; she was very attentive and kind. The food came out with no issues and was delicious. Everyone was so happy with the food and the amazing brunch beverages offered. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect day overall! Thank you to all of the staff there for making it such a memorable experience.
