When even McDonald's has better biscuits, there's a problem. This place is a hole in the wall you'd miss if you blinked.. The service was fine. They use Pilsbury frozen biscuits (you can tell by the unmistakable taste). The sausage gravy was ok, but could use more flavor. Home fries needed to be cooked longer.
Friendly staff. Good sized portions. Not sure if they are, but the eggs taste very fresh (hey - it’s Oley. Farms everywhere- if a place serves eggs around here they should be local and fresh.). Cash only establishment but there is an ATM on site. One thing - I like hot tea with honey and sometimes the honey packets aren’t that good. Dark and gloppy(it’s probably fine - just unappetizing looking as it’s dropping into my tea). I know you probably have to buy a hundred...
I only stopped in for breakfast. Excellent portions and even accommodated crispy home fries!
I was on a job site a few miles away and even stopped to have my coffee refilled the following two days. I've never had gas station coffee I enjoyed, and I have never had diner coffee that I did not like.
