First time here. We were planning on going to the A and W restaurant at Sandy Ridge. But when we went by they were out of business so we came here instead. Since we were going to ride the train at East Broad Top Railroad. The restaurant is in town, but you just can't watch the train from the restaurant like you could at the A and W restaurant.

Sebastian makes the best sub rolls. His are fresh and the subs are the best anywhere. His roast beef is cooked to perfection. He is a hard worker and so is his staff.

As a truck driver I have eaten in a whole lot of Italian restaurants especially in New Jersey and New York but I gotta tell you this little place would run them all out of business if they were next to them. I had the Chicken Cutlet parm and OMG the sauce was just phenomenal!!! The service was outstanding and the prices are UNBELIEVABLY low especially for the quality and quantity you get.

I pass it every week when I pick my grandson up. There are always cars there. Took a chance& stopped to eat since we are so tired of fast food. It is a hidden gem. The food was great the service was great. We will definitely be back

First time I have eaten here at this restaurant. I had the sloppy Joe and French fries. The French fries were cut fresh. All food was hot and very tasty 😋. Stopped in for Mothers day. The restaurant wasn't busy when I stopped. Lots of tables to choose from to sit at. Less than 20.00 for 2 people. They give a big serving of food. We had a sweet lady for our waitress who was very kind and caring.

Called in and ordered a kids' meal, a sub, and a Stromboli with the meat sauce on the side. When I got there, a nice lady took my payment and I started checking the food. The kids' meal was missing and my side of meat sauce. The kids' meal was brought to me immediately, and the owner told me the meat sauce was in the Stromboli. I reminded him that I ordered it on the side and he said he would bring me one for the side. I didnt want the sauce inside, so this didnt fix my problem. The lady at the front could see I wasn't happy and she asked if I'd like to have it made again, and SHE made sure to get it done for me. I went to give her back the mess up, and she told me to just keep it, which made the situation better. 15 minutes later, he brought me the remake and grabbed the messed up order. The lady in the front was the only good part about this place. The owner was dismissive and irritated at the fact that he messed up my order. He made sure it either went to the staff or trash before the customer who was done wrong. I get home and the Stromboli is STILL made wrong. I called to see what they could do and the man on the phone got an attitude with me and accused me of lying. He hung up the phone on me. I wanted sausage, pepperoni, and cheese inside. This Stromboli has 1 layer of pepperoni and 2 layers of ham. 1 star for Pizza Star.

My husband and I came up to Pa for an anniversary. Not being at all familiar with the area we didn’t know restaurants closed early. We went to one place they were closed. Finally we pulled over. Phone in hand we called Pizza Star. Sebastian the owner with 10 to 15 minutes left to his day said come on in. He made us a pizza and drinks. He didn’t shoo us out. Instead he let us eat in his restaurant. Though we never made it back there before leaving. He’s earned my business and respect. See you next time sir!
