“Stopped by for breakfast. The food and service was awesome. The pancakes were huge! In addition to the food, there is a laundromat and game room co-located. What a great service to the community of Orbisonia.”
“Have been eating here for 30+ years. The dining room was full and filled with a roar of laughter/conversation from the guest. Paula was working in high gear to keep up with orders going to the kitchen and from the kitchen. The food was hot, quick, and plentiful. Good tasting chili bowl and roast beef with gravey sandwich platter with fries. Oh yeah, the steaming hot bread was delicious!!!I will continue to recommend Pizza Star to anyone passing thru on Rt. 522.”
“Taking side roads thru Pennsylvania and came across The Caboose. We had delicious burgers and wonderful ice cream cones. The owner was great to visit with. Totally recommend.”
“A cute little soft serve ice cream and fast-food place right off the highway. Soft serve prices are cheap and the portions are huge. A narrow gauge railroad track runs by it, and every few hours one of the local tour diesel trains goes by. It's a nice place for a quick cool down. Stop by if you're in the area!”
“Wonderful place to eat healthy; I stop several times a week after the gym. The manager is simply the best; knows me well. Great place for the tuna subs on wheat and fresh vegetables!”
“I have traveled all over the nation eating fast food and A&W is a classic that is rare to come by these days. I was incredibly sad to see the nitro tap pours for the A&W root beer out of order and replaced with standard CO2 from the dispenser. Everything else was good but, it really seems like this "build back better" is really is hitting A&W hard.”
“Very friendly service; and atmosphere; so far cannot; order anything wrong! Have only ate there during lunch or dinner; have not tried breakfast yet.My favorite is the chicken and waffles and roast beef sandwich meals! Great ”
“As local as it gets. The food was uncomplicated, wholesome, and in generous portions.Keep in mind that this is a cash only establishment. A low fee ATM is provided, but I could not get my card to work. Plan ahead!”
“What a gem! We randomly found this place after being frustrated with having no restaraunts other than fast food and pizza in the area. Not only do they have great paninis but they have a good drink selections including coffee, lemonades, boba tea, etc. very friendly, warm and welcoming environment. My only complaint is that it was difficult to rip my boyfriend away. He was having a blast talking to every one and trying multiple items from the menu. I highly recommend.”
“Stopped in while in town at the recommendation of a local. Had the BLT which was great, thick cut bacon, fresh tomato (tasted locally grown) and plenty of mayo. I also had the house made Checkers Chips with salt and vinegar seasoning. My husband had the Philly omelette and it was great too. Quiet diner, definitely a spot where locals go. Our server was friendly and service was quick.”
“Our first time in that area we decided to stop in and give it a try we greeted immediately by very friendly staff . Food was delicious we went back the next day for lunch. We will definitely make a trip back!!!?Kid-friendliness: They let the kids draw pictures and the waitress hangs them up”
“For those who reviews say this place doesn't not exist. YES IT DOES. My grandmother lives around back. It's a very laid back bar. Friendly people and good service. Yes, the style outside the bar may be mistaken for a house. Great place !!!!”
“Food is always good. Sometimes have trouble getting anyone to answer phone when they're super busy.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetable only options - rice, lo mein, etc.Kid-friendliness: Pizza rolls, chicken nuggets, chicken on a stick”
“Bricktown has many delicious items to choose from. They gave us a sample of smoked ribs that we immediately purchased. We also picked up frozen meat pies for home that were very good. The young man working the counter ( Damien) was very helpful and friendly. We will back.”
“More and more with all establishments it seems as though they are keeping food alot longer than they are supposed to and serving customers old and dried up items. I have had nearly hollow pies so to the inside shrinking up and drying out on multiple occasions. And for 1.79 a pie they should be fresh! Also, I stopped ordering any type of chicken sandwiches due to them being either over cooked or sat out so long they begin to dry up. I will say this though, the managers are kind and quick to resolve any complaints.”
“Staying in the area and only finding pizza places and dinner food. Which is okay for one night out. But when on vacation you need better. Hidd'n Valley was better.Ordered salmon cakes and were good. Not dry. Good salad.Very good service. No frills atmosphere. Friendly staff.”
