Just had pizza here. The gentleman in front of me was charged $5 for two slices and a fountain drink. I went to order and decided to order the same thing. I was charged $10. I asked why I was charged double the price and the horribly rude woman at the register said “that’s why I asked if you were paying cash or card”. Yes she asked me, but she did not say there was an additional fee for card, let alone that much of an additional charge. There are also no signs at the register that say “additional fee for cards”. Save your time and money and eat somewhere else.

I didn't realize this joint was more or less one of those 'Along with Dunkin Donuts' places, but it was getting late and we wanted some quick pizza so I did a quick grab on 'Maps. It's fine for travelers as there is a Speedway gas station right next to it. The soft drink machine was out of order. The single slice selection was minimal. But in fairness, the white pie was delicious... ricotta, mozzarella, garlic, and prosciutto. The other slices were fine. The lady taking care of me was a total sweetheart and very nice. So the white slice and the lady get the increased stars.

I stopped In for a large Margherita pizza on a recommendation from a friend. When the woman rang me up I thought it was pricey, I saw her scribble out extra large and write large. I decided to check the price on the menu in the restaurant which was 20.99, on line it was 21.99. I was charged 27.40. When I questioned it, I was told that the owner stated they are to charge the extra large price for the large and that he is supposed to be changing the on line prices. She wouldn’t refund me the difference and said this is what the owner said they are to do. I took the pizza and said that I would not be back. After eating the pizza, I really don’t need to return. I have had much better at a cheaper price. I will be letting my friends know not to waste their time and money going there.

Folks, I have been a customer of Red Tomato for years.. The food is always excellent! The philly cheesesteak pizza is amazing..And their 'garlic bread with cheese' is pure perfection!!! Recently (don't know WHY it took me so long!), I found out that ANY pizza they make can be made on a 'Grandma shell' - a thin square shell - think of it as a really thin sicilian shell and crust.. Just request it! And don't be afraid to ask for it to be 'crispy'!!! And so tonight I ordered a plain cheese pie on a grandma shell with some garlic.. And let me tell you this - I was BLOWN AWAY by this pizza!!! Folks, I am from Hazleton area, and am used to Pitza from Senape's and other restauraunts up there.. I don't like really 'thick crusts - too bready for me.. And there are other pizza joints in the Lehigh Valley that really tried over the years to listen to me and make a pizza like I remember from my hometown.. And I appreciate those efforts.. But Red Tomato NAILED IT!!! From the 'slightly blackened cheese on the top to the wonderful tomato sauce to the beautifully crispy crust.. It was EVERYTHING that I hoped it would be!!! I was SO amazed that I called the owner of Red Tomato to THANK HIM and his team for such excellent food over the years.. And that since I have finally discovered this amazing pizza on a 'Grandma shell', that I will be ordering one EVERY FRIDAY in the many days to come, along with a large order of their most excellent steak fries!!! Folks, if you have not tried Red Tomato, I highly encourage you to.. FIVE STARS, and I wish I could give them 10 STARS!!! Red Tomato is possibly one of the area's best kept secrets, and I highly recommend that you consider any of the many offerings on their menu!!!!

This place is great. The pizza sauce is on point and it's cooked to perfection. And it's attached to a Dunkin which saved me a trip. The garlic knots where big, chucky Crispy, and had nice pieces of real garlic. A diamond in the middle of nowhere.
