If you like hole in the wall restaurants, then this is PERFECT. A very home-y diner with classic selections and staff were very kind and ready for conversations. I got fries, sausage, chili, and bacon. Bacon was very crispy and didn't feel like it was air fried, sausage was delectable and had LOTS of taste in every bite.

The fries I got were not french fries, but home fries. They were okay...but you need to add some salt and pepper for it to taste the best. Finally, the chili was THE BEST! I've never had better chili man. It had really good flavor in the stew, and the other things in it had a pleasant texture to add. Definitely a good place to dine with your kids, or a date, a really good suggestion nonetheless.

Fantastic spot. Far surpasses any other diner in service, quality and price. Moonlight and Michaels got nothing on Penn restaurant.

I stumbled upon this little place by mistake. The food was delicious. Everything is fresh, nothing processed. Be sure to drop by and see Emily if you are nearby—she’s incredibly hospitable! What makes this place special is its vintage wall phone—the kind found on every old street corner—where Emily takes orders. They have neither delivery nor electronic payment options. They also remember every guess that comes in. They remembered a guest's birthday, which made it special. Make it a point to visit!!!
