I’ve worked in the food industry and I can see how complacency can lead to dirty kitchens and eating areas. I was generally impressed on how clean their kitchen was. A nice change in Shippensburg!”

“Nice little Peruvian restaurant in a small strip. Our first time eating Peruvian and we enjoyed our meal! Service was very friendly and our server (we didn't get her name!) took her time making recommendations and describing their most popular dishes. I got the pernil which was super flavorful. Served with a cup of rice, some black beans and platanos. My partner got a grilled chicken dish served with pico which was just a tad salty but had that great grilled flavor and the black beans worked well to balance out the saltiness. Prices were reasonable for the portion size. I took half my pernil dish home after I had eaten my fill. We'll definitely be back to try more of their dishes.”

“the kimchi is the best I've had anywhere and the wings were fried to absolute perfection. the staff is so friendly, every time I go I have an amazing meal and a great time. one of the true culinary gems in our community. also try the grape drink and the iced coffee, both are so so yummy. next time I go I'm ordering a bunch of kimchi to take home, it was that incredible. dreaming of cooking eggs in it.”

“We love stopping at The Igloo with our dog for an avalanche and a doggie dish! Their prices are fair and the avalanches are always mixed well! It’s nice to have the mix ins mixed all the way through and not just have an inch of just ice cream at the bottom of the cup.”
