Redemption BBQ is not the best bbq I have ever eaten but it is certainly one of the best locally. I stopped in for a late lunch and the business was empty. However I was treated by a friendly server and ordered at the counter. I got a half chicken, sauce on the side (I wanted to try them both) a side of smoked Mac and cheese, as well as a side of fries. I've been redemption BBQ twice now and the food is outstanding but not overly priced. Both times I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs with two sides and the meat fell off the bones. The smoked Mac and cheese and the shanty beans are definitely worth trying. You order and pay before you sit down and the food comes out pretty quick.
