ACW has an amazing selection of wines, from dry to sweet. The Tears for Gettysburg, Twisted Thicket, and Black Magic are all amazing, and I have gotten them multiple times.

Haunted wine run 5k 2024 for the SPCA was a blast. They had two 5k events, and it was nice to attend both. We had a choice of three wines to taste after the run, and I enjoyed them all. This is a great place with a great atmosphere.
Enjoyed the specialty wine memory lane and cotton candy aside from the white wine stray cat strut. We did this after enjoying the Adams County Haunted Wine Run 5k in support of the Adams County SPCA in 2023.

The place is beautiful. Lots of outdoor seating and shade. I would give it 5 stars, except for the line. There is only one place to buy food, wine or beer. The line was 20-25 minutes long. Want a beer, get in the line. Want to order food, get in the line. My point is, why not have a side bar, for food, beer & maybe a glass of wine?? If after your initial order, you decide you might want to get some food, or another beer, you have to get back in that 20- 25 minute line. There’s got to be a better way to do this

I was very pleased with our trip to the winery. We were in the area for my book tour and thought we'd stop in. Pleasantly surprised. Tasty flights. Great customer service. Dog friendly (outdoor patios). Clean facilities. And the woodfire pizza was excellent. We were able to relax for a few hours, which we really needed.

Adams County Winery is great! I had won a gift certificate for a tasting and tour for ten. We had forgotten to use it. ( although we went many times) Years later I contacted Michelle at the winery and she said they would be glad to honor it. So we rounded up 10 friends and family members headed there. Michelle gave us a tour and we had a tasting of many wines, they also supplied us with cheese and crackers. Michelle was a great tour guide and I would highly recommend her! We had a wonderful time and after the tour we bought wine and sat outside listening to live music. It was a great day.

What a tremendous surprise. Lived in the area for 10yrs. In that time went to 3 wineries in NY State, & 2 in VA. Never went there. Shame on me. Was considering buying 1 (dig it...1!) bottle of wine & walked out with 4 & a few nice wine themed trinkets. Hank(I believe) was a joy to talk with behind the tasting bar. Though too sweet for me to justify having on hand, the Rebel Red was a delight for sitting on your deck, cracking it open, sipping, & forgetting about the world. Two thumbs up.

Absolutely friendly staff. Tour includes history of the property and how it has expanded throughout the years. Many different wines are offered. Winemaking is creative and you may be able to find a wine you like, there are many options. Shane is very professional, courteous and eager to answer your questions. The property has beautiful gardens. It is worthy the trip to Pennsylvania.

not exciting wines, what we tasted felt flat. on top of it. they have a very annoying order/checkout system, you have to wait in line for customers to get a taste, place their orders, etc. with only 3 assistants to help you on a Saturday afternoon.
Lonely atmosphere. Very nice atmosphere and staff. The wine is yummy!!

We stopped in after a day touring the Gettysburg area. We were pleasantly surprised by how friendly the staff are and the live music. The wine was a little sweeter than I personally prefer. However, for a sweet wine, it was good. The Black Magic desert wine was a table favorite. It was worth the stop, and I would recommend stopping in if you're in the area.
