“This was our fourth visit to Hickory Bridge, celebrating our anniversary at the place we honeymooned. Always a pleasure to hide away at a cabin in the woods, enjoy delicious breakfasts in the house and celebrate with a hearty, home-cooked meal in the barn. Finding day-hikes in the forest, visiting the battlefield, and just relaxing on our own were certainly highlights!”

Everything was amazing, I got the Spiced Chai Tea with the Strawberries and Cream Crepe. It was so big I couldn't finish. My husband got a coffee and Little Piggy Crepe, he's in love and already planning a day trip just to go to The Cottage Creperie! You gals Rock !”

The owner knows what’s up when it comes to making ice cream and creativity isn’t out of her reach when it comes to all the new flavors she keeps coming up with! The BEST ice cream I’ve EVER HAD!!! “Sierra was a wonderful server and we had 2 delicious pizzas. The pepperoni mushroom pizza had a zesty red sauce. You won't be disappointed in the spicy pepperoni flavor. The chicken Primavera had a garlic flavor and the white sauce was the perfect compliment to the broccoli! And let me warn you now! They did not skimp on the cheese. Try it, you'll like it!”

“A great little place to get out of the heat and have a great bite to eat. It’s so hot out today and the cold Club Sandwich was perfect! Sierra our server was prompt and kept checking back on the 3 of us, our granddaughter said her sandwich was delicious and my husband had the cheesesteak and pasta salad. The restaurant is really clean and sporty with baseball memories. Absolutely recommend it!”

“Me and two friends met up here on Sunday night for a late night bite to eat and I have got to say we got the best service! It was decently full in the bar area and the bartender (I wish I could remember his name!) was ON TOP of everything! Gave great food recommendations, made a killer chocolate martini for dessert, and kept us all laughing the entire night! I highly recommend the apple butter burger! He suggested it and it was one of those that is an interesting combo I must try and holy cow it was AMAZING!”

“30 days ago when I first came into the restaurant my ticket said “guy at the end of the bar.” Today it says “regular.” I cannot say enough about the hospitality the owner Mr. Bob and every waitress has shown to me over the month. I spend about 250 days a year in a restaurant and I know good food and service a mile away. The Ott House definitely doesn’t disappoint. See you in the summertime in OBX Ott Family!”
