First time in Gettysburg so asked the concierge in my hotel if he could recommend a restaurant with my caveat being if you only have one night in town - and you’re a foodie with a chef husband - where is THE do not miss place. My wife and I had Brunch here while visiting Gettysburg on our anniversary. I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our experience at The Sign of the Buck. We had dinner here for the first time, & it was grand. We started with cocktails. I'd say the winner was my s'mores old fashioned. It came with a toasted marshmallow! The 4 of us shared an order of French fries, & they were excellent--one of the best items on the menu. My husband & I also shared an order of charbroiled oysters, which weren't as good as the fries.
