I just want someone there to know that "Bonnie" made our evening last night for Linda's birthday the very best possible. I have to be honest, Bonnie is the best waitress I have ever come across in my life. And at 84 that says a lot. Thank you and please thank Bonnie!
They took us, a party of six, on short notice on a Sunday afternoon. It's a historic inn but has been recently renovated so the dining room is in good shape. They had a piano player playing nice tunes. I had the Chesapeake chicken, which I thought was excellent. Two of our party have the haddock sandwiches, which are large and good.

A last second decision to have a burger for lunch, plus a good friends' recommendation led me to the Carriage House Inn, and I'm happy it did.From the moment I walked in and encountered Linda at the hostess stand I knew this was the place for me. She was professional, with a great sense of humor.
