If you’re in Gettysburg, you have to check out the Dobbin House! We came here for lunch around 4pm (just before dinner service) and got their famous French onion soup, warm crab dip, an open faced Reuben sandwich and the mile high sandwich.Cannot say enough about the French onion soup- it’s true what everyone says! I could have had 3 bowls of it.The speciality cocktails were also all fun to try and delicious.The atmosphere is authentic and truly a unique experience.
Very cool historic restaurant. Nice gift shop. Great atmosphere. We were in the tavern part which also serves food. There's a dining room as well. The food was ok. I got the filet, very tender but could have used a little more flavor. All in all, worth the visit!

Had dinner here for a family members birthday. Friendly service and a colonial feel make this an enjoyable stop with the family. Surprisingly high prices and good, but not great, food keep it in the rare visit category.Food & drinks: Food was good, but not worth the price. Stopping for the atmosphere is worth at least one visit.
