“We were driving by on the way back from Mr Eds and decided to stop in. You might not think it by the look of it but this place has the best food! The fries were super crispy, the sub rolls were so fresh and the pizza was delicious! Also they had the cleanest bathrooms I think I've ever seen in a restaurant. Great place to stop for lunch!”

“We stopped here on our way to Gettysburg. The food was delicious and we really liked the cider. Staff was helpful once we engaged them but it was a little awkward for a "newbie" who didn't really know anything about about the place. That being said, the food was awesome! My husband had a custom pulled ham flatbread and I had the smoked pulled pork nachos. The meat was melt in your mouth.... So good!”

“It was my son’s birthday on Wednesday and we wanted to get some subs to go to the park for a picnic. I ordered online and there was no option to make personal edits to the order, so I called in. The employee was so accommodating; she took care of all of my needs and was super polite in doing so. She even called back to make sure she understood the directions I gave her. I got to the location and the girls who were working this day were professional, the store was very clean, and I was overall SUPER impressed. I will be going back, for sure. I know that currently the staffing situation is hitting hard on any restaurant business- but whatever the management is doing at the Biglerville Subway should be replicated. Please give those girls a raise!”

“We come to Gettysburg twice a year and always try to stay somewhere new every time. We are so pleased with our stay at Cashtown inn that we will start staying there at least once for our annual visits. I can't say enough about how accommodating the owners and staff were and very knowledgeable of the history of the area and ready to share with you all they know. Of course there is a bit of haunted stories of the building and area, so no matter whether you're coming for the haunts or coming to relax, this is the best place to stay. By far.”

“First time in Gettysburg so asked the concierge in my hotel if he could recommend a restaurant with my caveat being if you only have one night in town - and you’re a foodie with a chef husband - where is THE do not miss place. And he didn’t even have to think about it. Hands down Sign of the Buck is where I should go. But he said reservations are a must so I jumped onto Resy and booked a spot for 7pm. I am SO glad I took his advice because not only was this place incredible for Gettysburg but it is one of the most memorable meals I have had in Pennsylvania…period. Charming decor, very elegant and cozy. Hostess was warm and welcoming. My server was an adorable young lady and took great care of me throughout the evening. When it comes to cocktails - the options are extensive. They ALL look so tempting. But they smoked House Old Fashioned was the winner and it was incredible. Not too smokey which suits my taste so I was a happy camper. Starters were a tough choice too - had a tough time deciding but I finally chose the roasted Brussels Sprouts which sounded incredible from the description and they were phenomenal. So often they are either undercooked and hard or over cooked and mushy. They hit it out of the park. Crispy. Tender. Perfectly cooked and flavored with a cheese - I forget the name - and balsamic reduction they were just awesome. For my entree that was a no brainer. Venison of course! I mean this place is called Sign of the Buck so I figured the venison had to be their specialty. And that was for sure the right decision because it was the most beautiful presentation and the meat was cooked to perfection - medium rare as I requested. The accompaniments didn’t look like much at first glance. Pretty but when I tried them the squash and potatoes were superb and paired beautifully with the meat. As I devoured my meal I noticed more and more people arriving - clearly the word is out that this place is where it’s at in Gettysburg. Though I was stuffed and could have skipped dessert - my waitress brought me the menu and I just figured what the hell - I’ve come this far. Let’s go all the way. Baba with Calvados and maple cream!? Yes please. I am bummed I live 4+ hours away from here or I wouldn’t hesitate to make this place my staple for date night. Can’t wait until I return to this beautiful town again and will be sure to book a reservation before I come. Pretty sure these will be tougher to come by once word gets around about this jewel of Gettysburg! Cheers to Chef and team for a memorable evening.”

Therefore, my Siberian Husky, Juneau Elizabeth, and I each had a cup of your vanilla soft serve, and it was delicious! See for yourself.... “Had dinner here for a family members birthday. Friendly service and a colonial feel make this an enjoyable stop with the family. Surprisingly high prices and good, but not great, food keep it in the rare visit category.Food & drinks: Food was good, but not worth the price. Stopping for the atmosphere is worth at least one visit.”

There was an individual pizza that needed a touch of sharpness to make it really sparkle, for example. “This is a charming spot with good food and quick service, although it can get busy. My burger was cooked just right and the fries were outstanding! Parking is right behind the restaurant and there is an overflow gravel lot behind the paved lot.”

“Cute place on the back end of the battlefield. Mozzarella sticks were really good and cooked perfectly! The chili dog was just ok. Not enough chili and cheese sauce overpowered the bun. The pizza was good, but the sauce was tangy, overly chunky, and acidic. For the price was a good value and would go back!”

“Yum, just... yum. We are visiting Gburg and local family came by our bnb & brought cheesecake & cookies. We started sampling the cheesecake before dinner, and then had to go buy more quick before they closed. And we still have no leftovers. Local Gburgers, run- don't walk- to SwS! I'm only happy I don't live here b/c I'd weigh 100k pounds. Enjoy your gem of a dessert shop!”

“OK, this is a Cidery, not a restaurant, despite the template. However, they have food trucks a lot of the time, so check in with them if you want to eat and aren't bringing your own food.Some truly award winning ciders here, the (Bartender? Don't know what to call them specifically) was friendly, knowledgeable, and full of good suggestions. We came out loving the CrabApple cider, although it might be too sour for the tastes of many, but left with three different growlers of cider, so I'm sure there is something for you.Also, on a good day, expect to enjoy the view!”

“This was a great, casual, fun stop for some good food and fun distilled drinks. The interior is all brick, industrial warm atmosphere with good music, clean, well lit. We loved the goat cheese brûlée with hot pepper jam. We ordered two. Served with pita bread. The selection of drinks is great. You can get just the alcohol, or they make fabulous cocktails. We will come back.”

“Fun place with good service, huge portions, and a nice atmosphere. We had several different dishes, with both house tomato sauce and a cream sauce. We like the cream sauce better, but it's just down to preference. Meats were delicious and it was overall a great meal.”

“Great flavor choices and they usually have something unique. Quantity of ice cream is good with fresh waffle cones. They need either an out door sink or wet wipes to clean sticky fingers.”

“To be fair the pizza was tasty enough. staff was friendly and order was ready before quoted time!! However was pretty disappointed to order a “Deep Dish Chicago Style” pizza and it was not even close. It was a pepperoni pan pizza with slightly thicker crust and wayy too much cheese. Nothing Chicago or deep dish about it. Was reallly excited to see that on the menu locally, but it should not be labeled that :( The pizza sauce was good (but not on top, or extra like chicago style) & we still enjoyed it but 10000% not a chi deep dish. I would have paid less to order a regular pizza with pepperoni than paying the higher price for deep dish when it was not. Photos to compare their pizza to a chicago style.”

“Chicken wings were top notch. Atmosphere was inviting. I ate in the bar and so had to order from the bartender. She ignored me completely for many minutes while she did everything, including washing all the dishes,but finally she grudgingly took my order. I suggest you wait for a table in the service area.”

“Really liked my smashburger, wife didn't like her regular burger, underseasoned and very little blue cheese on her black and blue burger. Chips are good, fries are good. Beer cheese is awesome. Biggest complaint, I was trying to pay the parking outside and they refused to seat our table of 3 without all 3 of us standing there....like, the restaurant was dead at the time and I was outside paying parking...downloading an app, making a new account, adding a credit card...then paying. Why make them wait? Ridiculous.”

“Food was good and served at the correct temps. I had the birria tacos, my family had the chicken fajitas, the shrimp empanadas and the chicken burrito. The service was good, but very slow. Seemed almost like our server was the only one working in the establishment. The complimentary salsa was had a mango like base which my kids really liked. The prices weren't excessive; with food, drinks and tip all was slightly over $100 for the four of us. I ordered unsweetened tea due to being diabetic but they were out. Not a huge deal, I'm not above drinking water. The menu selection was large and was the usual Latin American classics. All in all a good dining experience and I would eat here again. They did have papusas on the menu which I would be interested in trying.Parking: There is a small adjacent parking area with about 5 spots reserved for this restaurant.”

“This place is legitimate. No frills no chain no fancy just good wholesome traditional fair. A little difficult to id as a restaurant . You have to go through the laundromat, but don’t let that fool you. very friendly people.”

“The food here is great but the service needs some work. Our waitress hardly checked in with our table and when she did she was unpleasant. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt but it looks like other people are having the same issues.Parking: Parking lot is located behind the building.”
