We come to Gettysburg twice a year and always try to stay somewhere new every time. We are so pleased with our stay at Cashtown inn that we will start staying there at least once for our annual visits. I can't say enough about how accommodating the owners and staff were and very knowledgeable of the history of the area and ready to share with you all they know. Of course there is a bit of haunted stories of the building and area, so no matter whether you're coming for the haunts or coming to relax, this is the best place to stay. By far.

My fiancée and I only stayed one night, but really enjoyed our stay. I more for the history of the Inn and the area. The room was big enough for both us and the air conditioner worked well. We had our own fridge with freezer and a private bathroom with shower. The amenities were a nice touch and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was delicious and filling. I didn’t even need to ask for refills on my coffee. There was a little talk about the history of the area and the Inn that ended with a tour of the basement, which I found very informative. For those who aren’t going for the history but instead have a curiosity in terms of its paranormal reputation, we experienced nothing at all the entire night. However, in the morning as I was getting ready to go downstairs for breakfast, my cell phone literally flew off the desk. We were both startled, especially since it was in the middle of the desk (not on a ledge) and it wasn’t on any type of slant. Not sure how to explain that. Overall, would definitely do again if in the area.

Always great service from the staff. The food is excellent. Very informative tour and history of the inn and surrounding area is given in the evening. Great location, short distance Gettysburg. The Cashtown Bacon is absolutely the best bacon ever!

Absolutely fantastic historic Inn. It was a privilege to stay here and meet the owners who have dedicated so much to restoring and preserving this important piece of American history. The rooms are really comfortable and nicely appointed. Nothing is too much trouble here, from booking to checkout we were very well cared for. Breakfast was amazing (especially the baked oatmeal). Would absolutely recommend staying here for a historic and unique experience in Gettysburg.

We stayed in Room 7 the General Anderson room and had a fabulous stay. The tour of the cellar and Jeremy's history get together was interesting and informative. The breakfast was 5 star. Our room was even larger than I anticipated clean and comfortable. No ghosties for us but we had the most phenomenal trip. The Inn is only a short drive to Gettysburg. Book early the rooms fill up.

I recently stayed at the Cashtown Inn, in the room that my ancestor slept in when it was his headquarters during the battle of Gettysburg. I am the closest living Collateral Descendant of Lieutenant General A.P. Hill. I exhumed General Hill's remains on 12/13/22, I was his Pallbearer at his reinterment on 1/21/23, and I'm his National Guardian. The owners and employees of the Cashtown Inn were very welcoming and couldn't have given me a better experience! The customer service was awesome, the food was amazing, and their love of history and preserving the Inn made me very happy and relieved that it's in great hands. I highly recommend anyone who loves history or paranormal to stay at the historic Cashtown Inn! You will not be disappointed! A HUGE thank you to Jeremy, Danielle, Jennifer, Brian, and Sabrina. I will definitely be back soon.

I greatly enjoyed my weekend stay at the Cashtown Inn. The room we stayed in was #3 and it was very comfortable and the service while there was top notch. The Inn is full of great history and the owner’s made themselves available for anything we needed day or night. If you wanna get away I highly suggest this Inn.Nearby activities: There are plenty of tours of Gettysburg you can take day or night.Noteworthy details: The Inn played a very important role in the Civil War.
