This rustic farmhouse b&b has all the historic flair, run by the great granddaughter of the original family, the home was well kept and welcoming. We will stay again
Family style dining was amazing. The people are very polite and inviting really cool little store. Can’t wait to come back and stay in one of the cabins and try out the Jacuzzi definitely recommend five star.
Good food and service. Family style.
We were visiting Gettysburg from DC to enjoy a little history and get away from the city. We were pleasantly surprised to find this country farm where we enjoyed a fabulous homestyle meal. The service and atmosphere was just what we needed to complete our day.
Thank you Hickory Bridge Farm for giving our family a great memory to look back on. We’ll be back in the Fall!
We were very disappointed at the quality of the food. The meat selections were subpar and the sides were notii hi int out of the ordinary. We would not recommend anyone to go there and we will never go back.
Absolutely amazing home cooked meals. Family style and delicious!
The setting was relaxed and food was very excellent. The staff was very polite and helpful. We plan on visiting again when we come to Gettysburg in the fall.
I am a single mother and I decided to take my 4 yo son on vacation around Hanover and Gettysburg for 4th of July. We made a reservation for this restaurant on Saturday months in advance. We ended up finishing up all our other activities earlier than anticipated and we were starving, so we came quite early hoping they'd have some space for us. When we came in, we didn't have to wait very long at all. While we waited, there were refreshments available; the best apple juice I ever had and a cheese spread and crackers that were delicious. We were seated and greeted warmly by the waitress Ashley and given fresh bread, the best spiced peaches, and apple butter. SO GOOD. And then a family-style spread that included fantastic crab imperial and ham with a pineapple dressing that was unique and very good. The food was comforting and abundant. My 4 yo's eyes popped out of his head with delight and even moreso when he was notified dessert was included. He had a little sundae and I tried the ice cream pie. Everything was very good. I loved the ambience and decor. It felt like coming home! Being a single mother, trying to make this whole trip happen was stressful, and I swear the Lord was looking upon us with favor because then, the waitress comes over and I am prepared to pay our bill, have already calculated the tip, and she lets us know that it's been taken care of by someone in the restaurant. I don't know who did that for us, but I want you to know I cried joyful tears thinking about that blessing and I am tearing up now. I don't think you can know how truly impactful what you did for us is and THANK YOU so so much for your kindness!!! And thank you to the manager who came and talked with us and made us feel so welcome. It was truly an amazing dinner. We left knowing we couldn't wait to come back in the future and hopefully even stay in a room next time. We went to the country market attached and my son made fast friends with the woman there and we bought a jar of spiced peaches! Highly recommend this place. It's more than just a meal; it's a family.

Food is great! Plenty to eat, all you can eat! The menu varies, you can look it up so you know what to expect.
Our stay at Hickory Bridge Farm was spectacular. We came for the historic sites in Gettysburg, but what really stood out was the hospitality of our hosts. Breakfast and dinner were expertly prepared and you can't beat being greeted with iced tea & cookies. Well worth our 8 hour drive from Rhode Island.
We had a great romantic weekend at the Hickory Bridge Bed & Breakfast. The cabins were secluded and quiet. Breakfast in the farmhouse was excellent and then on Sunday they delivered breakfast to the cabin! Sitting on the porch in the rockers and listening to the creek and the birds, what a great way to relax. It was an excellent experience, highly recommended and I can’t wait to go back. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
We ate dinner here. It was delicious.
