Just hear your planing to close for good? Your the best around,don't know where we're going to go for a wholesome dinner with great atmosphere. Sure wish you would change your mind. I was just talking with my family about how I couldn't wait till you opened in April. Your ham dinner is awesome.

My family has been coming here for years to celebrate the older generation at Christmas time. This year, we had a group of about 24, and were seated in a separate dining area near the main door. We had 3 staff members waiting on us, which was awesome! They were super friendly, courteous, and attentive. They even were dressed in colonial period outfits, which was a fun touch. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated, with both antiques and Christmas decor. There were not a lot of menu options, but everything they make, they make very well: ham, sliced turkey, stuffed chicken breast, and crab cakes were a few of the options. The entrees come with a simple house salad, and for a side you can get either fries, mashed potatoes, or green beans. Everything was delicious and servings piping hot. We'll keep coming back!

Drove all the way there just to find out that the entire place was closed for a party. Maybe mark that online instead of a note on your door? We wasted a lot of time and gas for nothing. Very unprofessional. This was the third time Slicks was unknowingly closed when we arrived. We've decided this was our last attempt to dine here. It's just not worth the hassle.

Over priced Thanksgiving meal. Water downed turkey had no flavor, yams was not the whole way heated, green beans had stems in them. And our bill was $130.00 never again coming back there. Waiter forgot half of our food and couldn't keep our water glasses filled.

Loved it, so much Americana to look at..had a great time.

Wonderful friendly service. Food is very good and portions are big. Held class reunion there . Everyone raved about food and service. We had out of state classmates who said we have to return here next year for annual class get together. (Chestnut Ridge)

You expect good home cooking with cheap instant potatoes yuck get the baked potato and the foods good

Beautiful Country Restaurant like no other!!Superb dishes, reasonable prices, great friendly service.Fish fry was perfect.A friend, took me there for the first time, I'm a antique buff, so I fell in love with the Decor that splendidly decorates the walls in each room. A museum in its own right.I was enjoying the hats. A Brown suede feathered hat was my favorite.I'll get pics of food next time, maybe ?

Nice atmosphere ,good service, hot food,not pricing good location and parking is plentiful. Would recommend for couples or families

I had cream of potato soup…… crab cake, green beans & fries & corn bread I enjoyed all the food. It’s a family owned restaurant. You won’t be disappointed surprise yes. Thanks Slick I’ll be back again & again & again etc. I
