At first glance, the Palm looks like what could best be described as your typical country dive bar - which it sort of is, but with some pleasant enhancements. The decor in the bar area is unique, there is a quote regarding the love of music overhead as you walk through to the traditional seating. Ok. So the bathroom……men and women in the same bathroom? There were 2 stalls. Are you supposed to be in there the same time as the opposite sex? Our friend said the door didn’t lock? The food and service were very good. The bathroom made us uncomfortable.
It's probably what you would call a little bit dated. It's ok, but could use a remodel. It was very hot inside and cramped. I don't think it has any A/C. The poor waitress was serving the entire place by herself and seemed to be the only one working. She did great being in that situation. The food is typical bar food and is ok. The band was great.
