“At first glance, the Palm looks like what could best be described as your typical country dive bar - which it sort of is, but with some pleasant enhancements. The decor in the bar area is unique, there is a quote regarding the love of music overhead as you walk through to the traditional seating. I can't explain the allure of the place exactly, only that it's got that "slowed down" vibe that seems to be lost in a world of 2025 chain bars/gastropubs. Admittedly, I have always been a sucker for places like this - but the Palm did not disappoint. We were a party of 5, my wife, myself, our three kids (12, 7, 3) and while we were the only family with young kids in there at the time (and my 3-year-old was absolutely post-nap second energy wind) nobody seemed to mind. They have a chalkboard with daily soup specials that looked like someone took the time to make fancy. The food was typical of a bar, I wouldn't say it was out of this world (I had the diablo burger) but it was above-average for a bar setting. My daughter had the kids burger which was sort of lack-lustre, my wife had a roast beef sandwich (complete with sides of horseradish and Au Jus) which was not only massive, but "really really good" and let me tell you she's the food critic between us. I liked that the floors are sort of worn, it aided in the atmosphere feeling like your local family pub. Service was great, and that's considering that the bartender was alone, with 6-8 people at the bar, and probably another 12-15 people seated at the table. She was a rock star and absolutely the reason we will be back. I liked this place, a lot - give it a try!”

“All very good except price! Pricing referenced in OnLine menu much lower than actual pricing. Remove them and update with current pricing which is 50 % more. $35 for salad, protein , ice tea ( non alcoholic) is ridiculous).”

“My daughter and I dined here yesterday for the first time and enjoyed our experience. The service is lovely. We particularly liked the chicken shawarma, falafel, and hummus, but I gotta say, the star of the show was the pistachio cheesecake. Wow! This is a family owned and run business, and, if I heard one of the employees correctly, there's a certain family member who makes the desserts. So good! We'll definitely be back!”

“I had worked with the owner and staff to place an order for my daughter’s 5th birthday party. Among the guests included one/more children with special needs, so I needed the food to be inclusive. So, my order was somewhat off-menu, and the owner was totally willing to work out pricing with me. He gave me a great value. He stayed in close contact with me, even when I had to tell him that the party was being rescheduled. His team had the order ready on-time and despite the weather, the food was still hot when I arrived, and everyone enjoyed the taste. If you want to be treated well, I recommend Slice N Spice!”

“Our party of 6 dined last night. Michelle was our server. She was great- very attentive, drinks were always filled. Some stand-outs: Caesar salad was great, dressing is made in-house. Blackened chicken and shrimp were seasoned well. The creamy polenta is excellent. Salmon dish was prepared perfectly. The carrot cake dessert is excellent and the creme brulee is also very good. There’s plenty of space between the bar area, the lounge and the dining room. A gentleman (manager?) visited our table and made sure our order was just right. Great experience! Will recommend and will return!”

Rosa and Rosa (the daughter) are ALWAYS extremely accommodating and very helpful with suggestions and always quick to offer bread or something while you're waiting for your meal. This is the type of family hometown restaurant you are looking for! We have had parties here, networking events and regular family dinner here. Guiseppe makes the best food! “We were traveling through the area and found this gem because of the great reviews. Our food was amazing. My curry was flavorful with just the right amount of heat. My husband ordered a whole fish. It both looked and tasted fantastic. Our server, who I think may have also been the owner, was super nice. “All of the food here is delicious! We loved the cauliflower appetizer so much, we placed a second order to go and it was equally delicious re-heated at home the next day! Its a small restaurant, but very warm and comfy. Very reasonably priced as well. At the last minute, I ordered on of there signature drinks... coconut latte, and it was yummy! Perfect end to a rainy Saturday afternoon! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.”
