“We picked up a cake for my husband’s birthday and it was not only delicious but you can tell that the freshest and highest quality ingredients were used to make it! My kids came back for seconds. We also picked up some pumpkin donuts and they were addictive! You can’t just have one! I can’t wait to come back to get some egg custard!”

“My daughter and I were looking for coffee at a Wawa and stopped here instead. What a great place we discovered and whole heartedly recommend!!
Clean and fun interior decor and in good weather an outdoor seating area as well.
The coffee was delicious- strong and fresh!
They make a cold nitro brew which will be my next stop try.
All of the pastries are made in house, a big plus as well?.
We tried the home made croissant- flaky and a delight!
We also had an egg sandwich on an everything bagel- no more Wawa for us!
Not sure why we have never stopped before, but that is changing.

Dinners included Blackened Salmon; Salmon Tacos; Burger and special of the day - Barbecue Ribs. They were complimented with fresh veggies that were really different, fresh and yum. “I placed a take out order for my first time at Opa Vera's, but it DEFINITELY will not be my last visit. The Traditional Gyro was FABULOUS--and one of the best I have ever had. First of all, it was HUGE, and made to order per my requests to leave off onions and to add extra Tzatziki sauce. The meat was to DIE FOR!!! Unbelievably tender and tasty!! Tomatoes that still tasted like they were summer fresh from someone's garden, and lettuce that was fresh, crisp and green--no brown edges. While I only went into the restaurant to pick up my order, the place was spotless and the tables actually gleaming. Kudos to the staff of Opa Vera on their great food , and know that I will be back!”

We go twice a week sometimes more in the spring and summer and at least once a week during the winter. We love the staff and the small town feel. It is the best place around and our go to- always!”

“THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN THE BERKS COUNTY AREA!!!! My boyfriend and I have been ordering Fridas for about two years now and they NEVER MISS. My boyfriend grew up in California and very close to Tijuana and he says that this is the closest he’s ever gotten to food from his childhood. The quality of the food is amazing and everything is SO consistent. The amount of food you get for what you pay for is also great. We’ve only ever ordered on doordash, so I can’t speak to what the atmosphere is, but if it’s anything like their food, I’m sure it’s amazing. We ❤️ Fridas!!!”

“This is my favorite local vegan take out cafe for a great simple dinner of their lentil & sweet potato soup on a rainy day coming home from a 12 hr work day. The 8 Oz side of garlic hummus and pita round it out for a very satisfying and healthy meal when you haven't eaten since 7 am... The wrap with the mushrooms is awesome & more than a single meal for me!!! My favorite shake is the green mint smoothie when I need a potassium & iron boost or just when I need something cold on a hot day. Alternatively, & although very strong, I love the Syrian coffee! & if you have never tried their baba, baked falafel, or stuffed grape leaves, you don't know what you are missing! Open the Cafe door and you smell such mouth watering deliciousness, you might go for a sampler #1 w/ the combo. You won't be disappointed!!! STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS LOCAL VEGAN TREASURE!!! Storm”
