Great soul food for a good price. Alot of good portion options to choose from. The flavor and breading are perfect. Not overly greasy. We got the fish and shrimp with Mac and cheese and collared greens. It was all great.
I had the shrimp and fish (whiting). It was flavorful and just delish. The price wasn't bad for the amount fish they give. Music playing and the man taking our order was personable, professional and just nice. We are from NJ and we will come back when we come through this area. We love ❤️ to find local "Mom an Pop" shops and this was a great find.

I’ve always had an appreciation for small, local, family-owned restaurants and therefore just had to see what was in my local area that wasn’t a commercial fast-food restaurant franchise.Food From The Soul is definitely a unique “hidden gem” in town that is totally worth the visit.The homemade fried chicken wings and Mac N’ Cheese were hearty and delicious. ?Would definitely come back someday ???
