“Great food served with a side of excellent service! Abby was phenomenal. She has a warm and friendly personality but more significantly, a tremendous sense of humor. When I get the feeling a server can handle my wackiness, when I ask for honey mustard for my fries, I specify “mustard honey.” She smiled and said Sure!

My in-laws got their usual, a White Russian sandwich and a burger. My wife got a French Dip type of sandwich, and I ordered a French Onion Soup with a side of curly fries. When Abby brought out our food she saved mine for last, and she said “here’s your mustard honey.” She sat down a bottle of honey and a bottle of mustard. The four of us busted up laughing because the joker got PUNKED! But yes, I did get the real thing.

As usual our food was served hot and was very tasty. It wasn’t just punking me that made me appreciate her. Abby truly enjoys people, which reflects on the exceptional level of service she provides. Servers like Abby are rare these days, and I trust management will pass on our complements. And I hope I spelled her name correctly because it could be Abbie. Either way she rocks!

“We had The Bally Hotel cater my daughter’s birthday party on Saturday and the food was excellent and plentiful! The owner was super easy to work with and accommodating with what we wanted for the menu. They provided us with the chafing dishes which kept our food warm until we ate which was almost an hour and a half after we picked it up. The food was also perfectly packed so there were no issues with any spilling during transport. Would highly recommend having The Bally Hotel cater your next event. You won’t be disappointed!”

“I had worked with the owner and staff to place an order for my daughter’s 5th birthday party. Among the guests included one/more children with special needs, so I needed the food to be inclusive. So, my order was somewhat off-menu, and the owner was totally willing to work out pricing with me. He gave me a great value. He stayed in close contact with me, even when I had to tell him that the party was being rescheduled. His team had the order ready on-time and despite the weather, the food was still hot when I arrived, and everyone enjoyed the taste. If you want to be treated well, I recommend Slice N Spice!”

“Our party of 6 dined last night. Michelle was our server. She was great- very attentive, drinks were always filled. Some stand-outs: Caesar salad was great, dressing is made in-house. Blackened chicken and shrimp were seasoned well. The creamy polenta is excellent. Salmon dish was prepared perfectly. The carrot cake dessert is excellent and the creme brulee is also very good. There’s plenty of space between the bar area, the lounge and the dining room. A gentleman (manager?) visited our table and made sure our order was just right. Great experience! Will recommend and will return!”

“Stumbled across this gem after a trip to Renningers market. We got the half wrap/soup combo with the chicken Caesar wrap and chicken corn chowder. The Chicken corn chowder is to DIE for! They offer homemade baked goods and healthier options which is always a plus for me. Prices can’t be beat. Our new breakfast/lunch go-to for sure.”
