My family and I have been loyal customers of this restaurant for years, often bringing friends and relatives because we believed in supporting this business. Unfortunately, our most recent visit left us shocked and deeply disappointed. Even while we were ordering, there were early signs of unprofessional behavior. I asked if I could order an additional soup to go, and the manager — who was also our waitress — responded, “No, because you’re lucky you’re getting a cup.” That comment was rude, dismissive, and completely unnecessary, but we tried to overlook it. Then at checkout, my husband noticed we were charged for full salads instead of the combo we ordered. When he politely asked about the discrepancy, the manager approached us in an extremely rude and confrontational manner. She raised her voice, demanded “What’s the problem here” loud enough for the entire dining room to hear, and then argued with my husband as if we were the ones at fault. Her tone was abrasive, her attitude was hostile, and her behavior was entirely unacceptable for someone in a management role. She created an embarrassing scene over a mistake that could have been corrected quietly and respectfully. The lack of professionalism was astonishing, especially considering how often we’ve supported this restaurant. I want the owner to be fully aware of how their customers are being treated. No loyal customer — or any customer — should ever be spoken to or confronted the way we were. Because of this experience, we will never support this establishment again, and we will no longer recommend it to family or friends.
