Great food. Probably best to make a reservation - especially for the bar area.

My wife and I went to Baxter's last night and had a delicious prime rib meal, cooked just right!

We love Baxter’s - great pub with consistently good food and a wonderful ambiance. Many of the people that work there have been there for many years. Matthew (manager), Gail (receptionist), Patrice, Patrick and Scotty behind the bar and Deena and Lisa (extraordinary servers) make the experience great every time. They have regular specials and good go to items, like the roast turkey platter, meatloaf, and, believe it or not, a pork schnitzel! Also, have good chicken wings, lamb chops and excellent Philadelphia cheese steaks (I like extra cheese). Good French fries too! And the prices are reasonable, especially considering the portions. They have music on Fridays and Saturdays - usually a very talented singer and volume is not loud - you can have a conversation without having to yell. Also, Patrice runs a fun Quizzo on Tuesday evening that starts around 7:30 pm. Highly recommend if in the area and looking for a fun hangout!

One of the Mainline
primary restaurants for the last fifty plus years. It's been around forever. For a reason, you gotta go experience. What real food is
Found the place online and decided to meet my wife and daughter there. Wasn't sure what to think when we went in. Looked like where the local retirement community came to dine for the evening. Nevertheless, the food ended up being very good. The snapper soup paired with the bread brought to the table was very enjoyable. I got to sample the burger as well as the turkey dinner (so darn good) from my wife and daughters plates and both were very tasty. The fries were crispy, even the sweet potatoes fries had a nice crunch which they hardly ever do at restaurants. The beef in my french dip was full of flavor, wrapped in a nice soft roll, covered in melty cheese. The waitress was also very friendly and attentive. Overall everything was very good. I don't know if I'll be back but I'm definitely glad I ate here.
The wine price is outrageous, and the food is really good, but way too expensive to go all of the time. An appetizer is priced at an entree rate. If they were reasonable, they would have more of a regular crowd.
We wanted to try a different restaurant in the area. When we went in the bar was crowded but the restaurant was empty. They told us that we could seat ourselves on the other side. Once we turned the corner we saw a rodent running along the booths. We did an about face and will never go back!
Great place to meet friendly people. Good food, and service. Suzie is great and remembers names. Fun place to go.
Great onion soup with amazing melted cheese on top.

Baxter's is a nice restaurant offering pub food. The dining area where we ate was in a separate room from the bar so it is kid friendly. My husband enjoyed a French Dip made with melted Swiss and grilled onions on and served on a long roll. He had coleslaw and pickle chips on the side. I ordered the Baxter's Chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was served with melted American cheese, lettuce and tomato, and honey mustard on the side. The chicken and bacon were cooked just right. I ate it open with a fork and knife because it was too big for me to bite.... I had the lettuce and tomato on the side. My order of sweet potato fries was large enough to share and they were hot and tasty! Service was good.
Parking: There is plenty of parking available in the lot.

Baxter's in Paoli is a good restaurant for pub food. We sat in a cozy booth in the dining area. My husband enjoyed a French Dip, served with melted Swiss cheese and grilled onions on a long roll, and coleslaw on the side. I had Baxter's Chicken Sandwich: grilled chicken with bacon, melted American cheese, lettuce and tomato on a country roll with honey mustard on the side, and sweet potato fries. The portion of fries was generous and I shared them with my husband. The sweet potato fries were hot and delicious, and definitely worth the small upcharge! The chicken and bacon were cooked just right. I ate the sandwich open faced with a fork and knife, and had the lettuce and tomato on the side. It was too big for me to bite.... but very tasty. Service was good.
Been twice. Excellent staff and great food. Stay, chat and enjoy

If you like pub, food, you’ll probably like this place. The French onion soup was delicious! I personally had a fabulous waitress, but the atmosphere was a little dark and old-fashioned for me

Baxters used to be much better. Food was just ok. Turkey club was so small it was absolutely not worth the expensive price tag as was the soup. Just ok and very expensive. Two simple dinners for two that were barely ok and 75.00 with top. Much better places to go.
