We love Baxter’s - great pub with consistently good food and a wonderful ambiance. Many of the people that work there have been there for many years. Matthew (manager), Gail (receptionist), Patrice, Patrick and Scotty behind the bar and Deena and Lisa (extraordinary servers) make the experience great every time. Found the place online and decided to meet my wife and daughter there. Wasn't sure what to think when we went in. Looked like where the local retirement community came to dine for the evening. Nevertheless, the food ended up being very good. The snapper soup paired with the bread brought to the table was very enjoyable. The wine price is outrageous, and the food is really good, but way too expensive to go all of the time. An appetizer is priced at an entree rate. If they were reasonable, they would have more of a regular crowd.
