Some of the best dim sum I have had in the Philly area. I grew up eating in Chicago's Chinatown, then NY, San Francisco and Hong Kong. This compares with the best of them. Generous sized dim sum (the char siu bao is huge) and all delicious, with lots of goodies (shrimp, pork, shitake mushrooms, etc) in them. The gai lan with oyster sauce was perfectly cooked, tender and green. The wu kwok (fried taro with delicious filling) was amazing, one of our favorite dishes, and theirs is perfect. Cannot recommend them enough. I keep meaning to go back to try regular dishes, but end up with dim sum because it is so good.

Very good dim sum. Everything is ordered from a menu, so that means there are no carts coming around. The staff was very helpful. This is a great spot if you don't feel like making a trip down into the city for Cantonese/HK/ Dim Sum cuisine.

Food is mediocre. One order came out refrigerator cold. Service is pretty poor. They started is with half glasses of water and never once refilled them. The steam baskets come out with no bottom on them, so when the soup dumplings break open (which many of the do) it leaks out on to the table.

The restaurant's management is beyond disappointing. Despite having made reservations through OpenTable, they failed to honor them and seated walk-ins ahead of us, despite us waiting patiently for about 40 minutes after being told it would only be a 10-minute wait. When I approached a server at the cashier for assistance, she directed me to someone else, denying any responsibility or promise to seat us. Such poor management reflects poorly on the quality of the food and service, and we won't be returning.

We came on lunar new year for dim sum because we did not want to drive down to Chinatown. We made a reservation for 6 and a toddler. Food was great but it took at least 45 min to come out. Granted the place was packed and we ordered A LOT, we saw other tables that were seated after us receive their food before us. It would have been nice if we were served a few dim sum dishes as they were prepared. Also a bit pricey, but again, we ordered a lot and the food was good. Would recommend if you want to avoid the hassle of going to Chinatown and if you go on a quiet day, but next year we will opt for the more inconvenient option for faster service. We were starving while waiting but definitely left with LOTS of leftovers

This place is worth the commute to the suburbs and free parking if you want authentic Cantonese dim sum prepared by traditional chefs.Restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly and attentive. Some of our favorite dishes include: original shrimp dumpling, HK shrimp shumai, pork shumai, bean curd wrapped pork, beef meatballs, roast pork buns, salt & pepper squid, beef ho fun noodles, taro dumpling, rice noodles, water chestnut dessert, and the egg custard tarts! One of these days we will try their congee… too many flavors to choose from. Thank you for bringing authentic dim sum to the suburbs. Nice to not drive into Philly.Parking: Love not having to pay for parking vs Chinatown Philly

Made a reservation for Lunar New Year, place filled up by the time it hit 12:30 with a line of people waiting for a table. Jasmine Tea was floral and flavorful. Our favorite dishes were the soup dumplings, snow pea leaves ($20 but worth it), crispy sesame balls with bean paste, duck bao. Fast and super tasty. Shrimp dumplings were light and glassy, chicken dumplings had a good amount of white pepper flavor, they were just "ok" compared to our top four. Took off a star because got turnip cake and wonton w noodles, bought for the auspiciousness of the day, weren't great and wouldn't do them again. Turnip cake was a bit mushy for my taste and wonton soup had no flavor (though the wontons were good and tasty). Will have to come back to try some of their traditional large format dishes!

We dropped in for an early Monday dinner a week or so ago. We were the only eat-in diners although there were a couple of take out orders. I'm not sure if it was an off night or what but in short, we liked the food, but the service was awkward. The hostess was very abrupt and not welcoming. Considering every table was empty and it was chilly. we had a bit of a time convincing her that we did not want a table up against the window. The waiter did not offer to explain how things worked and basically stared at us as we tried to figure out what to order and through a good part of our meal. The older woman who brought food from the kitchen was warm and friendly as she brought dishes out. Everything we ordered was generally well prepared. The bao was not particularly flavorful and the ratio of filling to dough was smaller than I would have liked. We loved the squid tentacles and the various fried and steamed dumplings. The durian party was a sweet dessert that most of us enjoyed although durian is one of those "acquired" tastes. I intend to go again and hopefully the front side of the house gets better Decor is a bit stark. There was obviously a water problem in the lobby area on that night. Come for the food or get takeout.

Great food Excellent old school dim sum and Cantonese No ambiance It's cold in the restaurant Waiter is curt but I think it's more language/cultural than rudeness You go for the food, not the ambiance!

Wide variety of dim sum - generous portions and reasonable prices. If you like it spicy, make sure to ask for the hot chili oil.
