I walked in around noon. As soon as I got to the counter, I said hello and the man at the counter said we aren’t taking any more orders for 30 minutes, the kitchen is slammed with orders, sorry.
I get that the kitchen was busy, but he was rude about it and he didn’t know if I was ordering takeout, catering or if I had a general question.
The encounter was rude and abrasive. I don’t care how many 5 star reviews you have, no food is worth curt behavior toward a customer. They can keep it.

Sassano’s chicken cutlet caesar wrap just changed the game! EASILY the best one I’ve ever had and I’ve tried a lot.
Cutlets were crispy, croutons were crunchy, lettuce was cold and the dressing was plentiful. Seriously couldn’t ask for anything more. I’m now going to be making the drive from Philly whenever I crave it!

Can’t say enough good things about Jeff and his team at Sassano. They catered a party for 75 people for us on a Saturday when they aren’t even open. The food was amazing! We got compliments all night. Thanks so much for the thoughtful guidance on the menu and for helping make my parent’s retirement party a huge success!!

Wow! Amazing sandwiches…the bread is incredible. Lovely selection of prepared specialities and fresh pasta! Eat in or take out…very clean and well organized. My new favorite lunch spot. The Chef/Owner Jeff takes great pride in Sassano’s and it shows!

My wife and I grabbed a late lunch here and absolutely loved it. I got the Turkey Sandwich with applewood smoked bacon and cranberry mayo and it was incredible. There was plenty of lunch meat, the bacon was thick, and the mayo had such a unique flavor. My wife got the Ceasar salad and she loved it too. The dressing is definitely homemade and overall it was a 10/10 lunch!

One of the best buffalo chicken sandwiches I've ever had. This is a great gem tucked away behind the Starbucks and I highly recommend. Lots of great looking sauces, pastas and desserts too!

The roll doesn’t remind me of a Philly-style Italian roll, and the sauce is too sweet. I recommend the owners go to Anthony’s or, better yet, Tredici for great examples of proper execution of Italian-American classics like eggplant. The meatball sandwich should be renamed a meatloaf sandwich since it is flat. I wouldn’t be surprised if the owner is a Mets fan.
