It's a shame this place is permanently closed. It was one of our favorite places.

It was a bit of an odd experience. Everyone was very friendly. The dining rooms are partitioned oddly, and there's an immediate sense you are missing something in the atmosphere. The fruit was mostly from a can, and the food was hotel or cafeteria quality. Breakfast and dinner it was difficult to find fresh or flavorful options. The second day we chose oatmeal to be safe. There were no whole or healthy syrups or toppings, for pancakes or oatmeal - it was all corn syrups, and sugars. The milk provided was only 2%. Dinner was bland. Deserts were super sweet and sugary, to the point our teeth hurt.

We tried to like this place for the nostalgia and the reasonable cost. If you don't mind processed, canned, and budget catering style foods this place is OK. If you have any special dietary needs, you may have trouble finding options.

The Historic Revere Tavern is NOT closed at this time. It is being sublet by The Bird in Hand Family Restaurant and Stage.

Appreciated Revere Tavern hosting Bird-in-Hand Restaurant and Theater. Brought my sister and her family to "The Confession" musical. We enjoyed our meal and the show.

Food was ok but waitress and manager the worst. We are traveling on vacation. Waitress treated us like she could not be bother. We didn’t even know there were specials until we overheard our waitress telling another table. I didn’t finish my food because was full and wasn’t that good. Waitress pushed for a reason and when I explained all she stated was “she just knew I was going to be a problem”. Manager told my husband she was her best waitress. Needless to said paid the bill without leaving a tip.

excellent food Super excellent service. Fascinating history. It's just a shame that the place is going to close this coming Saturday, after being open since 1740. Glad we got to stay at the place right in the 90th minute.
