Zing restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere with friendly wait staff and clean facilities. The menu features a variety of dishes, including bento boxes with generous portions. The food is delicious, with options to suit different tastes. While some dishes may be pricier than expected, the quality and service make it a worthwhile experience. The restaurant also offers take-out and lunch specials, such as the popular Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box. Several items listed on the menu are fully vegan, including poke bowls, tofu appetizers, and stir fry. Customers have found the vegan options to be delicious and plan to return. Gluten-free items are clearly marked on the website and menu, with many options available. Take-out orders are fresh, hot, and ready on time, maintaining good quality. The sushi is highly praised, with one customer describing it as "10/10". The place is also described as "cosy". Customers have enjoyed dishes like the sushi bento, kung pao chicken, and vegan poke bowl, all described as "absolutely delicious", "really good", and a "party for your mouth", respectively. The brown rice and fresh ingredients are highlighted. Visitors also appreciated the miso soup, which was very good, and liked the ginger dressing, even though it is not the typical Japanese style. The California roll was warm and squishy, though a customer noticed a piece of a bag in the tray. The shrimp tempura was good, but the sweet potato tempura was hard outside and soft inside. The restaurant's atmosphere is friendly, and the service is great. Overall, Zing is a cozy, clean place with friendly service and delicious food, making it a great choice for a satisfying meal.
