“I usually love eating here and understand that it gets very busy. However, they do not run reservations well. I checked in 30 minutes after making my reservation. My quoted time was 40 to 55 minutes. We waited an additional 30 to be told that I wasn't checked in properly. Waited a total of an hour and 20 minutes and still was not seated.“

“The meal was absolutely perfect. Ambience is totally on point and the staff was friendly with good suggestions. I loved the food the pancakes with pistachio sauce are out of bounds. I even ran into some old friends and made new ones too. You’ve gotta go. Thanks nook!“

“I have been coming here since they opened about 8 years ago. It instantly became my favorite place. It’s a Lawrenceville staple now. When people ask me what my favorite restaurant is I say “well it’s actually a brunch place, but Geppetto Cafe! Trust me!” Great atmosphere, food, and people. There are few places I’m a regular, and this is one of them. Their iced black coffee is my all-time favorite too. We just had our engagement party here, and they were so flexible and accommodating. It was really special, and many of our guests said “you WOULD have your engagement party at Geppetto”. They loved it. Everyone thought it was super cute and that the crepes were delicious. Highest recommendation for brunch, coffee, or a special occasion!“

“We wanted to try something new and wow this place was amazing. What a great choice! Once I saw cevappi (delicious Balkan Sausage) in the menu, I stopped looking. You can’t get it anywhere around here. That plus the amazing home fries that were super crispy and delicious. My husband loved his chicken schwarma which was super flavorful. I loved all the sauces in it too. You must come check it out. Everyone was really friendly and wanted to make sure you were happy which is rare anymore.“

“Sam (owner)/ Chef is amazing! I have been coming in for almost a year now. I ordered the sausage gravy plate and the waiter forgot that they had ran out (honest mistake). Instead of asking me to order a different dish, Sam came out himself and told me he would be making the dish fresh just for me! I let him know I'm would be ordering 2 orders just for his generosity! Seriously the best restaurant I've been too! I will always come back!“

“This is a fantastic hole in the wall brunch spot! I have been coming here for over two years and have left with a smile on my face each time!
Wait staff is always nice and friendly. The food is consistently delicious, and the restaurant offers a nice decor of veteran themed memorabilia which gives the place a charming personality
Love Barb’s!“
“Had a morning appointment on Liberty Ave. & Stopped in for breakfast after. Saw the special for 2 eggs, sausage, hash browns & toast for under $7 & had to stop in. Quite the neighborhood, yinzer, diner feel. Lil small but accommodating seating. Cozy. The wait staff was quick, efficient & personable. Rocky was cooking away & catching up with some Steeler news with the locals. Stools are a lil shorter than your usual ones which is accommodating for shorter folks. I sat at the bar & deliciously watched my food sizzle, simmer, & cook to perfection. Couple of cuppas of coffee & a hearty breakfast had me ready for the day. Everything you needed was at your bars & tables (hand sanitizer, salt, pepper, Heinz ketchup, hot sauce, sugar creamer, grape jelly). The folks were fine with chatting up about anything local & interesting, others were having a quiet breakfast scrolling through their phone feed. The menu was short and to the point. A few specials on the front, a la carte as well. Everything was reasonably and affordably priced. Tables were neat and tidy. There was also a small collection of movies & music for sale too. Couple of classics in VHS, DVD, CDs & Casset tapes.
Parking: Park in front for standard fare. Catch a side street spot if you're lucky.“

“Delicious potatoes! The sausage gravy was also amazing. Solid place to sit and think while the regulars who know each other well laugh and make the atmosphere exactly what you want from a diner. It is cash only and the ATM was broken when I went this morning, just a heads up.“
