“I came up from Key Largo Florida to Lancaster Pennsylvania to visit my friend and we decided to check out sickman's Mill and go tubing. I was very impressed with the whole staff.. they were very friendly and engaging answered any questions we had and made us feel welcomed. the process was easy and laid back and before you know it you're in the water on a heavyweight durable tube and gently cruising down the Majestic River. as you navigate your way down the river surrounded by beautiful Lush scenery you begin to understand what's so special about this place. I truly felt connected to Nature no phones no BS from the outside world no politics..all of its just disappeared. I hope more people can have this experience and I wish Joe, his wife, and the whole team at sickman's Mill years of success.”

“It was our first time there, and we didn't know what to get, so we ordered 2 entrees, samosas, beef pie, humus, and baklava. Everything was excellent. We are not vegan, but the vegan items were so good, I'd get them again. Order was ready on time and everything was hot and delicious. We'll be back.”

“When friends come to town we go to Bully’s. It is the place to go for casual upscale dining in Columbia. I have been taking guests there since Dave and Sherry opened 25 years ago and have always had a great experience. There are always great choices on the menu and the atmosphere is fun and historic. The unique wedge shaped site at the intersection of Lancaster Avenue and Union Street features plenty of parking and an onsite bakery. The owners are great supporters of the community and have been hands-on in all aspects of the operation. Well appointed guest rooms are available above the restaurant. “Staff was very friendly - helped me out when I didn't know how to order lol. I got an iced caramel latte with marshmallow soft whip on top. SOO good. Far better than big corporate coffee places like Starbucks. Also order a breakfast bagel. That was also really good! I really like the atmosphere. My only complaint would tables (they have a sticky-like texture & they're pretty high up from the booth seats. Other than that, I really enjoyed my first experience here. Will definitely be back again.”

“In search of a good sourdough bread, I decided to visit Front Porch. Upon entering the doors, the staff was friendly and welcoming. They had a few other people come in while I was trying to decide what I wanted, and they seemed to know them by name so I figured they were regulars, which is always a good sign. They had a lovely display of items, which all looked wonderful. Aside from my bread loaf (which is delicious), I also got a pumpkin muffin and a kuchen. The muffin was great (I would’ve preferred a little more cream cheese filling but it was still good), and kuchen amazing. Highly recommend and will be back.”

“My husband and I stopped by on a whim to see our friend Mike (the owner, whom we’ve actually known since high school) and to our surprise, it was Music Bingo Night! What fun! Great food! I highly recommend the Crab Bisque with Crab Imperial 🦀💋. My husband had one of the Paninis and said it too was excellent with fresh Tomatoes 🍅yummy AND the draft?! SUPERB 🍺 Great crowd and it was a Wednesday!! You’ve got to try this place! It’s just the best!!”

“This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Amazing menu selection, super friendly staff who are quick to answer questions and offer recommendations. We have been coming to Eagle Cafe weekly since they opened and with each visit we have had impeccable Service, Amanda, Jody and Danielle are fantastic. The male host is quick with greeting patrons and seating promptly, he is such a kind young man. The owner over sees and assists to ensures meal preparation is executed with detail and accuracy. The Kitchen staff / team do an awesome job executing some of the best food we have had in the area for quite some time. what a gem this place is !!!”

“Ordered at Poke Bowl Station for the first time through doordash the other day and was very pleased!! Excellent portions at a reasonable price will keep me coming back for more- not to mention its super fresh, yummy, and good for you too. I got a bowl with rice, tuna, salmon, and lots of veggies (those seasoned mushrooms hidden in there 😩👌 perfection!!) and it was beautifully arranged. I love that they let you pick whatever toppings and sauce options you would like. There are so many to choose from to make whatever flavor combo you're craving. I think I have a new favorite food place- ☺️ It was seriously so good!!!!”

“Looked for a breakfast. The infamous 50s Cafe down the street stopped serving breakfast and so I went in search. I was not disappointed and neither are many who stop there too! Regulars I'm guessing by the familiarity, community.”

“After finding out Pie in the Sky offered thick square Sicilian pizza I figured I'd pick one up for NFL Sunday. Unfortunately the person answering the phone misheard me and I had a traditional round pie waiting when I got there. I politely explained this to the manager, he threw a square Sicilian in the oven right away. No biggie I thought, I've worked in busy pizza joints in the past, these things happen. Much to my surprise he threw in the traditional round pie for free, even after I offered to pay for it. A+ service, this place went above and beyond fixing an honest mistake.

So how was the pizza? I now had a sampler of round traditional cheese, square Sicilian cheese and an order of garlic knots to dig into. It's excellent, the sauce has a nice flavor and the mozzarella tastes freshly grated and there's a healthy amount of seasoning on top as well. The crust of the Sicilian is perfect, substantial but not too thick as to be overly filling. The round pie had a nice greasy flavor, almost boardwalk style. The garlic knots have a flawless fluffy texture and just the right amount of garlic.

So if you're in the eastern Lancaster or Lampeter area definitely give Pie in the Sky a call, especially if you want a Sicilian style pizza, far as I know they're the only place in the area with it. Great service and awesome pizza!”
