“Amish girls are super sweet. Chai is perfectly made, not watered down at all. Everything is so affordable compared to similar places. Ambience leaves a bit to be desired but for the prices, it's difficult to complain. Still much cozier than similar amish run stores. There's a small play area in the back for children away from the actual 'cafe' 8.9/10Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free, homemade cookies that are fairly large and inexpensive.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Lots of small children here.”

“The primavera pizza and spicy garlic chicken pizza are amazing. Tried the moonshine bbq wings for the first time tonight and I was very impressed! Will always make this shop our go to for our family take out nights!”

“Finally tried this spot after years and years of passing it in my travels and only living 5 minutes away figured why not. We got a large pie, garlic knots, ham and cheese hoagie and fries. Fries come in a wax bag so they don’t get soggy on the way home. The hoagie was on a quality Italian roll. The garlic knots were amazing, especially with the fresh garlic on top. Last but not least the pizza. We got a prepperoni and mushroom and it was damn good Crispy undercarriage and topping were quality. Definitely gonna add this spot to our Friday dinner nights.”

“The restaurant is decorated with colorful fabrics and banners and there’s Latin music to set a festive atmosphere. The service was very good and our server was very friendly and answered our questions. My chicken empanada was stuffed with seasoned chicken and definitely homemade. My fish tacos had great sauces and presentation. Some parts were a little fishy so I wouldn’t order again. My husband’s enchiladas platter was so generous he took some home. The green sauce and chorizo are spicy so go for the milder options if you don’t want heat. The food was fresh and house made and priced reasonably so I would definitely go back.”

“Popped in for lunch. Menu has a lot of good options. We got the bacon ranch chicken cheese steak and fries and the southwest chicken salad with mozzarella sticks. The salad could easily feed 3 people and came with a pretzel type bread. The fries were cooked perfectly. Service was great. “My husband and I stopped by for the all you can eat wings on Monday night. This was our first time at Quarryville Family Restaurant, but it will not be our last. The wings were phenomenal! Super crispy and all the flavors we tried we amazing. We got there right in the middle of a rush, but our waitress was still very attentive and the food came out quickly and piping hot. Definitely excited to go back and try something from their breakfast menu.”

But I can say the order taker was upbeat and pleasant, the girl at the window was the same, my fries were super hot and fresh, my burger was great. “Late September and surprised an icecream shop is open. :)The girl at the counter was very nice and patient. The size chart I think is only slightly misleading. I figured $6 for a large cup in this economy is pretty alright. Said large cup was about the size of my forearm, no exaggeration! The girl balanced it perfectly!There is a LOT on their menu (which is good for variety). If you’re looking for soft serve chocolate-vanilla swirl/mix, they have it.The way the building is, it’s not an icecream shop that you can enter. Both doors are for employees only. There is a neon sign on one side that says “open/close” without hours posted outside I think, unless I missed it.Tl:dr - the staff girl is nice and the icecream is surprisingly a lot (which is a good thing) :)”

“Usually I like this place..yesterday not so much. I ordered a ham and cheese sub, it came on a hard roll..like a Peta pocket or something..and with provolone cheese, which I hate! And the service was terrible! After we waited for 10 minutes for a table to be wiped down..Our waitress stood in the corner sharing stuff off her phone with the other waitress almost the entire time we dined!”

“typical family restaurant. Mary Lou, our waitress was awesome, and took good care of a tree nut allergy concern we had. Broasted chicken was great. It does cook up a little dark, so some people think it's burnt. But it was very good, and the meat was juicy. Burger, and kids foods were all good. Chicken corn soup and chicken lemon orzo soup were very good. The salad bar was well stocked and very clean. I will return.Kid-friendliness: Grandkids (age 5 & 9) liked it.”

The staff was flexible when it came to changing the number of guests on our reservation not just once, but twice. Thank you. Food and service were excellent. “Excellent but expensive restaurant. Their onion soup is the best ever! My husband got the special bouillabaisse which was tasty but very skimpy for$45. I had the steak frites which was tasty but very fatty and gristly for $38. I would have much preferred a filet but it was not on the menu. Service was excellent.”

“It gives you straight-up old roadside diner in the atmosphere department, but the food is absolutely phenomenal. I enjoyed a really delicious omlette that came in a great portion with delicious shredded potatoes and fantastic bacon. I was quite impressed with the food and the service was great too.They have a giant pancake I want to try next. It's bigger than the plate.I'm already planning my return. If you're looking for classic diner eats and breakfast to die for, try this spot for sure. It's a PA gem.”

“If you are looking for a place with all around great service, great atmosphere, and great food this is the place. My friend and I went yesterday and this was our first time. They were so helpful and we took every suggestion they had and the food was amazing. We both built our own bowls and they asked if we had dietary needs. This was very helpful due to my friend be ing lactose intolerant. We also did orders of samosa and the chili momo and I wish I was joking when I say these were also amazing. This was probably one of the best experience in a restaurant. I wanted to try different things and I asked for suggestions and they were accurate with everything being amazing!!! “Ordered the smoked panini for lunch. Blown away. Just absolutely blown away. Might be a stretch, but I don't think it is... but I think that may have been the most delicious, flavor packed, sandwich I've ever had. Just amazingly tasty. Only one issue, and that is the bread seemed a little under toasted. I like my paninis with a crisp toast like bread. All the same, WOW! The MacNCheese is delicious too. I'll be back for sure. Not sure why I waited a year to check this place out, after moving here...Plenty of extras in their cases by the register, including drinks and snacks. Well designed and maintained space. Buzzer system for proper food orders. Looks like plenty of seating, included many outdoor tables. Some decent parking in the rear, and street parking out front. If you're in the area, you should def check this place out.”
