Taqueria La Mexicana LLC is a beautiful addition to Quarryville. The service is wonderful, with a joyful, illuminating spirit that makes customers feel delightful. The food is amazing, with every taco tried being a 10/10. The sampler includes tacos, empanadas, and other goodies, and on Friday a free drink comes with it, like horchata. Chips and salsa are complimentary. The menu is terrific, featuring rare finds like pernil in a taco. The burritos are huge, with roasted pork and al pastor flavored well but not over seasoned. The house salsa is very nice and fresh, and hotter salsa is available upon request. The enchiladas, tamales, and carne asada tacos are all very authentic and yummy. The wife and husband owners run the place; she is queen of the recipes and he is king baker. The food, bakery items, and desserts are all delicious. The music, environment, and people are nostalgic, taking diners back to a Mexican home. The outdoor patio is nice, with easy access off Enola low grade rail trail and the local mtb park. This is a hidden gem of Mexican greatness in Lancaster County.
