During the recent Firefighters Association Convention held in Perryopolis, PA, Cheryl and I had the opportunity to buy a bottle of 'sweet white wine' to drink as we enjoyed the band and fireworks. This bottle was without doubt the best sweet white we have ever tasted at an affordable price and of all things grown locally. The taste was crisp without a bitter cork aftertaste. If I had to sum up Winslow Winery in one word, it would be family!
My wife and I first tried their wines during the Pour Tour event last fall, and we were absolutely blown away by the quality. That experience led us to make a small road trip about an hour from home this past Saturday to visit the winery and try all of their dry reds. Let’s just say… we were not disappointed.

Visited this place for the pour tour. Definitely want to come back again. Great view and amazing wines. Even learned more about wine glasses from them.

Winslow Winery is a family-owned winery with a great atmosphere and dedicated owners who are involved in every step of the wine-making process. The winery offers a variety of wines, including Cab Franc, Gewürztraminer, and Viognier. Visitors can take a tour of the production floor and purchase reasonably priced bottles. The winery also offers classes, such as Ukrainian egg making, and has a charming atmosphere with cobalt blue glass bottles. Located about an hour from downtown Pittsburgh, the winery is easily accessible and worth a visit.
