The food was super fresh, tons of vegan options and the portions are large enough for two meals. Definitely the best hole in the wall spot in S Philly. Will be returning!

General Tso Shrimp, not cleaned properly (poop still in Shrimp). Been waiting to see what they're gonna do, but it seems like we're ripped off, no replacement food, no refund, not even a call back. Stick to the beer, food is not cared for properly.

Not your traditional Chinese restaurant for sure. It's a hidden gem behind the neighborhood bar/convenience store facade. You would not think there was Chinese food cooked behind the bar. Good location in South Philly. Perfect before or after a night game (open til midnight); you can grab a beer or 6-pack to go with the midnight feast without driving all the way down to Chinatown. BTW, 3 TVs were in the bar if you wanna eat there during the game. Sis has been here before, but doesn't get as much food when stopping by herself. We weren't too familiar with online ordering, so we ordered in person. Tonight, we three musketeers each picked 2 items (to go). We each loved our respective #1 choices. (Number 2 choices were good too, but our individual favorites were GOOD.) Sis loved her beloved House Special Soup, with a mix of veggies and meats/shrimp. My fiance chowed his beef with mixed veggies with gusto (likely similar to beef with broccoli but with mixed veggies (peppers, mushrooms, carrots, broccoli, etc.) My curry chicken was YUM (madras curry with perfect amount of spice for me (you can request more or less spice to your taste.) White rice was perfect for my curry. Also enjoyed my haw fun (thick rice noodles). Also had fried rice for a couple of the other dishes, nice yellow (maybe tumeric ?) instead of dark soy saucy rice. Everything was well flavored, not too salty or spicy. No pictures, we were too hungry to take pictures.

Meant to give it 3 stars but anywhom, everything was good up until i found hair inside my kung pao chicken . Im just going to stick to the stuff that goes into the fryer from this place.

It's passable Chinese food at good prices. The best part is that it's open late. The service is OK. The atmosphere is wierd because it's also a beer store and bar, you have to order at the store window.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options including tofu, vegetables, and vegan meat entrees.

When I'm craving lo mein, I'm specifically craving 17 Snyder's lo mein. It's so flavorful and garlicky, so delicious! This place might just seem like a hole in the wall beer store when you enter, but when you go through the side door into the bar/seating area, it's a whole different vibe. It's great for dining in or grabbing a drink while you wait for your take out. 17 Snyder has quickly become my favorite place for Chinese takeout in south Philly.Vegetarian options: Vegan options are available

If I could leave no stars I would. Very poor customer service here. The delivery guy and the guy on the phones here both were rude and yelled at me about food I was charged for but didn’t receive. All of that for them to realize afterwards that I didn’t get the food and they dropped it off on the porch. No apology or anything. They don’t get your order right, they change things in your order without asking, and will give you under cooked chicken. Never ordering from this place again.

Burnt my food 3 out of 3 times... I called the third time and the guy told me that's how they make it. Like dude this chicken has the consistency of a fortune cookie your gonna tell me that's how you make it!! Horrible customer service and bad food.

Nastiest food I have ever eaten. Would not recommend. Every time I come here it reeks of Marijuana, and the people working cashier are admittedly really shady. My little brother used to buy beers from this place regularly, yet the price for their inventory is always different depending on who's working behind the counter. The lady always tries to charge more. Also, this place always asks for ID when buying beer even if you go there 5-6 times a week. You're better off walking a few extra blocks over to Brothers Two, at least they care about their customers and know how to remember faces.

I randomly looked this place up out of curiosity & was pleasantly surprised to see they had vegan options. Truly a hidden gem. I really enjoyed the General Tso’s tofu & vegan sesame chicken. I can’t wait to order from them again.
