Came across this restaurant during our visit to Philly. Absolutely delicious food, and wonderful staff and atmosphere. The margherita pizza was amazing, and the bacon sauce is unmatched. I HIGHLY recommend upgrading to the house made gnocchi for the pasta as well!
The type of place you wish was in your neighborhood so you could go a couple times a week... Food was great, meatballs did not disappoint... Cash only, call for a reservation, was plenty of street parking. Enjoy, staff is friendly, very family friendly...

We visited 1731 Restaurant last night and had such a great experience. Our server, Linda, was amazing. She was helpful, courteous, and genuinely welcoming. She went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of.
We started with the calamari, which was fresh and perfectly cooked. Then we ordered two pizzas, the Margherita and the White. We live a good pizza and these were honestly some of the best pies we have ever had. The crust, flavor, and balance of toppings were spot on.
The specials also sounded incredible so we are already planning to come back and try them next time. Highly recommend this spot if you are looking for great food and service.

My brother, our friends and I had dinner reservations on Saturday 6/28/25. This was our first time eating there and the food was simply delicious and the staff were so nice and friendly, especially Stephanie and Joe. The food choices were various and the prices were very reasonable and competitive. We will definitely be going back. Kudos to the Chef for making g us a delicious dinner. From start to finish, the experience was warm, authentic, and unforgettable. Our waitress was fantastic—friendly, intuitive, and gave perfect recommendations. We started with a delicious burrata caprese and a unique rolled Italian meat appetizer—both bursting with flavor. The handmade gnocchi was pillowy and rich, coated in a sauce that tasted like it had been simmering for hours. A true taste of Italy and a one-of-a-kind dining experience.
