So this is my first review in a while , but I felt like I’d be remiss if I didn’t because the potential of this place is immeasurable!Upon entry , very aesthetically pleasing. Nice “looking” tables (I’ll emphasize on the quotes in a bit”, smelled great , and people enjoying their meals. Now upon walking in for the first time, we didn’t know if we just sit , or be seated. No signs, no indication , aside from an awkwardness of everyone staring at us and US having to ask if we just sit anywhere. No welcome greeting , nothing.We sat there for 10-15 minutes with no menu , nothing… but again , it smelled great in there lol a waitress , female, finally said she would be over. We ordered the Fish & Grits , and Pancakes for our little broke best friend. Our food took almost an hour to come out , and once they realized we caught that they forgot to start our food, the customer service / tone changed. Folks that came in after us, legit got their food before us. The system in which orders are sequentially received just needs to tighten up. I could see if it was super busy and you told us it would be a minute but again , very minimal communication and it had nothing to do with the waitress (SHE WAS AMAZING), and I heard her tell them our order multiple times!Once we did get our food after forever , we finally got a “sorry for the wait, but it was worth it .. right?” Naw homie.. despite the food being undeniably delicious, nothing that takes 10-15 minutes , should take an hour n change to be received. I’ll say again , the food was AMAZING ! The tables were nice to look at , but rocked like the Titanic after it hit the iceberg- definitely need to be corrected as I thought my food was going to fall multiple times. Apparently they had hookah too , but we didn’t get any indication they even sold it.Altogether , this rating was more so based on the customer service piece. If that improves, this place is an undeniable 5 star spot! I honestly want to recommend to all my friends, and I hope this review is helpful because I want nothing less than for this spot to win!

Their fish and grits was DELICIOUS!! I don't know what sauce they use on their grits. But it was good!! Will definitely be going back.

During my visit I received no greeting. We sat at the top near the cook to get a seat and the table top was disgusting. A dirty towel was just sitting there and our menu had dried pancake mix on our menu disgusting! The cook needs to be retrained in serve safe food servicing because he touch a dirty towel and then someone plates to hand out with dirty gloves on. That is a health hazard and a huge you’re taking when serving people food. He proceeded to crack eggs on the table top where customers eat in front of me actually. That is disgusting and again a health hazard to have raw egg near customers and where they will be consuming the food. This place needs to be checked by the health department because there were many code violations just by looking directly into the cooking area.No coordination or idea of service. No workers to service the customers either.Please just close the doors or a total 360 change needs to occur asap!

This was my first time at this place and I absolutely love love love it. There food was soooooo good definitely worth the price. I like that I can see the cook, cooking I love to watch people cook. My husband had the chicken and waffles the fresh fruit was a 10 the waffle didn't even need syrup. I'm not even gone start on the chicken it was seasoned so well not overly salty. I had the shrimp and Grits 10 all the way across the board we will definitely be back. ??????Parking: We had to circle the block a couple of times but we found parking right outside the restaurant.

Hookah & Mimosas . Well, I missed my bus and decided yo go in for a quick bite/sip. There wasn't a bartender on hand, so I got a easy drink and some fries. The fries were nice and crunchy.

I came here for the first time and it was absolutely horrible. Yes the cooks/workers were nice but my order was messed up 4 times. The last time they messed it up I just took it because I was tired of repeating myself. But I ordered regular chicken wings.. they clearly weren't regular I don't even know what flavor they were but they were horrible. I also ordered regular fried rice with NO vegetables because I specifically said I don't like peppers. And of course I received fried rice with vegetables... peppers.. and it was salty. I had the garlic mash I guess it was okay but it wasn't prepared properly at all. Overall it's not a bad place I just had a bad experience.

I've visited a few times I will say this places gets a lot of phone and walk in orders assuming because the location is right across the street from a bus depot. The food is nothing short of amazing! So much flavor, and feels made from the heart every time! They also have a small bar and and seating area if you decided to dine in. They offer hookah which has be good each time!
