It should be packed, but it was a Wednesday night. The food was superior. The service was excellent. And it was the best place to celebrate my husband‘s birthday. And we are picky with where we eat.
Super friendly and attentive staff, and the food is delicious. A couple of items to note: 1) Not the largest place, so reservations are recommended, especially during peak meal hours, and 2) This restaurant is BYOB!! (There's a Fine Wine & Good Spirits on Market St. a couple of blocks away.)
This little spot is truly a neighborhood gem. First off, it is tiny, quiet, and spotless! The menu is a fairly extensive range of small plates, each beautifully prepared and presented. It was obvious that each items was prepared while we waited. We had an exceptional leisurely lunch of manchego and iberico jamon, fried squid, tuna empanadas, a radicchio salad, and crostini with tomato. And our server was delightful.
